IB, IGCSE, A-level, Private Chemistry Tuition help
From 54.6 $ /h
I have been teaching Chemistry for 10 years at top independent schools in London and for the last 6 years in Rome, where my focus has been to get my students understanding the basic principles of Chemistry with the details and developing the key skills they need in order to excel in their exams. I have found this way students have been able to apply their knowledge in different and foreign contexts, building their confidence to approach and answer questions that “they haven’t seen before” thus helping them excel in their exams. Currently training to be a GCSE and IB examiner, I have used my current and past teaching experience to rewrite schemes of work to include the contextual teaching of Chemistry at IGCSE, A-level and IB. I am also an experienced Extended Essay supervisor.

About Me
My teaching experience began whilst still an undergraduate at UCL. I began to tutor privately and found that I was able to help students’ understanding of the core principles of Chemistry and resolve many of the misconceptions students had. To develop my knowledge, understanding and teaching further I went on to complete a PGCE and Masters in Science Education at the IOE, as well as a certTesol in order to help those whose first language was not English.
