I also aim to help students catch up with difficult topics covered in class and make them more confident. Lessons can also focus on revision and exam technique. In class I will cover the A level curriculum, offer guidance for completing challenging homework and integrate additional knowledge if the student is interested. About Me
Hello I'm Leia! As a tutor, I’m looking forward to meeting students with the same passion and help them broaden their understanding of nature.
I love tutoring as I enjoy inspiring my students to reach their full potential and watching them make progress. As a tutor, I like helping my students understand topics covered at school well as going through difficult homework together. I also ask questions that occasionally exceed the scope of the textbooks to expand my student’s understanding. In addition, I feel doing past exam papers is a crucial part of exam preparation. Therefore, I will look over difficult exam questions with students preparing for exams and set them past papers as part of their revision goal. It is important that the student has good exam and revision techniques, so I will give them my top tips. In addition, being fluently bilingual in both English and Mandarin, I can tutor in both languages, which is often useful for international applicants, Mandarin speaking students new to the UK or students seeking to improve their Chinese.
In conclusion, I see myself as a passionate, confident and supportive tutor and I’m excited to work with my students to achieve their goals.

I'm looking forward to helping students apply to study biology (natural sciences) at university. I will offer my students ideas for which universities to apply for based on their interests and give them advice on writing an amazing personal statement. In addition, I can provide guidance for Cambridge applicants on how to fill out their SAQ and prepare natural scientists for the NSAA. Moreover, I’m hoping to make my students more confident at the Cambridge Natural Sciences interview by arranging mock interviews and discussing interview style questions.
