Biology for A Level/GCSE students, taught by previous A* A Level Biology student
I achieved an A* in AQA A Level Biology. I have previous experience tutoring and enjoy teaching, so I would like to help others achieve their desired grade through sharing the insights I have learned from my own experience. In A Level/GCSE Biology, achieving the top grades is not only down to mastery of subject content, but also understanding how to approach the various different types of questions in order to avoid losing unnecessary marks. My lessons will aim to achieve all of these targets, by focusing on content, exam technique, essay writing and practical knowledge. Lessons can be flexible and adapt to the student's needs, as every student will have different strengths/weaknesses which means certain topics or types of questions may need more focus than others.

Biology is an important subject because it allows us to understand the natural world and the human body. As a midwifery student in TAU, I have come to appreciate the vital role that biology plays in my field of study and work. It enables me to provide quality care to women during pregnancy, childbirth, and reproductive health. Biology is considered crucial in most fields specifically healthcare. It helps us understand the processes that occur within cells and how organisms function and interact. This understanding allows us to comprehend the changes that occur in a woman's body during pregnancy, childbirth, different medical conditions and diseases. It also helps us identify any potential complications and provide appropriate care and support. Furthermore, biology plays a significant role in raising environmental awareness. With concerns about climate change and environmental degradation, understanding the impact of human activities on ecosystems and biodiversity is crucial. Biology provides insights into conservation efforts, sustainable practices, and the importance of preserving our natural resources. The knowledge of biology allows us to advocate for environmentally friendly practices and educate patients on the importance of maintaining a healthy environment for themselves and the next generation. About me: I am passionate about providing quality care to women during pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and reproductive health in general. My experience as a midwife and a gynecologist's assistant has equipped me with practical skills and knowledge in the field of healthcare. I have a strong command of English and Farsi, which is crucial for effective communication and teaching. Moreover, my TTC certificate reflect my commitment to professional development and my ability to effectively teach and communicate complex concepts. Overall, my background as a midwifery student and my experience in the healthcare field, combined with my language proficiency and teaching certifications, make me well-prepared to provide biology tutoring courses.
