I am a professional cellist. I would like to help you with: - Pleasant introduction to cello. (I have my own method for initiation) - Technical help and research in all levels adapted to each individual. - Helping realize ideas and creations. - Fine finishes for promoting. And all questions about cello and composition I always want to make an effort to lead to creativity.

In these lessons I would like to teach the student how to tackle a music dictation and how you can study for it. The dictation is very easy after a few lessons; after looking at the harmonization, possible modulations and interval exercises to more easily recognize intervals and memorize melody lines, it will be much easier when you hear a dictation to be able to fill it without error. You will then also have a better relative absolute hearing.

In my lessons, we will concentrate on playing music as well as understanding it so that it will be like a second language for you. Cello Lessons for all levels: My main goal with my teaching is to share my passion for music with my students. I believe strongly that this passion leads to discipline and curiosity which benefit all other aspects of one's life. Besides the discipline one learns, Music-making in itself is fulfilling!! :) Conservatory Preparation: In my experience as a musician living and working in Belgium for the past 6 years, I have noticed a gap in the musical education of young Belgian music students transitioning from Music academies into Conservatories. Oftentimes, these young music students seeking to enter conservatories do not possess the necessary skill level to enter higher education in Music. Through my private teaching, I intend to bridge this gap by catering specifically (though not exclusively) to these students. I strongly believe that there is a huge demand for this type of teaching which I am capable of providing.

Anyone, at any age, can learn to play the piano if he or she wants. I'm happy to help you. I work with children and adults. I will teach you how to play from scratch or help those who already know how to continue learning. I can also help you prepare for an exam or presentation. I will explain and show everything. I am familiar with different styles for both harp and piano, from classical music (baroque, impressionism, classicism, romanticism and contemporary music), to folk music, jazz standards, pop songs or minimalist music. I have been learning the violin and piano since 5 years old, and am currently taking a bachelor's in Music Performance in Violin, at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. Students of any age are welcome, and I have special experience with beginner and younger students, having given a lot of lessons in piano and music theory. I teach in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and basic Dutch. The individual piano lessons are personalized and tailored to the progress and learning ability of each student. Emphasis is placed on developing good posture and ease of movement at the early stage.
