I currently work as a Recorder Teacher at an all girls school in London (remotely). I have recently graduated from a Masters degree at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and am now looking for new pupils in Amsterdam. Originally from Bulgaria, I have received a Master's Degree in New York and an Honoree Bachelor's Degree in Piano Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music. I have been playing guitar for around 20 years. I started playing classical piano at age 5, but quickly got drawn to the guitar. Since I was 12 I have known that music was it, and I have devoted myself to deepening myself in music and teaching. During my 20ish years of playing guitar, I've gotten into many musical styles; I am fluent in rock, classic rock, metal, punk, indie rock, blues, country, pop and jazz. Over the years I've also composed a lot of music, both pop, rock, jazz and classical style-pieces as well as studied film composing. I have a bachelor's and master's degree in Jazz guitar, and thus I am also in a very high level in music theory, and ear training - two things that are challenging and fun in all levels and essential to musicians. Example topics can be: - Working on a song - Learning new chords - Learning how to play solos - Checking out music and transcribing it The possibilities are endless. I always try to: 1.
