I have a bachelor's degree in translation studies (English - Spanish - French) from the Central University of Venezuela. In addition, I am a experienced teacher of French as a foreign language and Spanish as a foreign language and second language. I have had the opportunity to teach different age groups in different establishments, such as the Alliance Française of Caracas, the Central University of Venezuela, the Embassy of Kuwait in Venezuela and the School City Brocéliande, in France.

I am a professional trilingual from Venezuela who aspires to become a high quality polyglot. At the moment, I speak Spanish (my mother tongue), English (advanced) and French (advanced). I love to learn other languages, cultures, and meet people.

Besides my professional background, I believe the fact that I have almost 10 years of experience as a foreign language learner can be as much as appreciated by students. Indeed, they could be taught valuable advices on how to create effective autodidact strategies, how to retain vocabulary, how to perceive mistakes as part of the language acquisition process, and many more. Education

Passionate about languages, I decided to study translation I at the Central University of Venezuela. Nevertheless, before I even obtained this bachelor’s degree, I started to teach French as a foreign language at the Alliançe Française of Caracas, where I considerably improved not only my linguistic skills, but also my pedagogical skills by multi-age teaching, as well as using ICTs, authentic inputs and games. I got so involved in this practice that one year later I pursued a professional program in teaching Spanish as a foreign and second language.

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ...
