As I have also completed my degree in creative drama, I regularly organize workshops on raising awareness on different issues, like body language, communication, strengthening creativity, basic acting skills, art, and culture. Together we work on a solid singing technique, breathing, articulation, interpretation, musicality and voice hygiene. We explore the classical singing repertoire and look for music that fits your voice. You can also make a trip to other genres (jazz, pop, musical, etc.) You learn to use your voice from a classical approach, but with a good singing technique you can handle a lot of styles! I am specialised in film history and theory, which I've been studying for years and know extensively. You could be someone curious about film who wants to get a grasp of the old calssics; or you could be a cinephile who wants to deepen her or his knowledge of the field and think critically about cinema. Some topics will include New Korean Cinema, Contemporary French Cinema, Experimental Film, French New Wave, Film and Philosophy, Hollywood Cinema, Postmodern Cinema, Documentary Theory, Queer Cinema, Feminist Cinema, Black and Postcolonial Cinema, and Ecological cinema. I also teach contemporary art history, specifically from the 1960s onwards, with a focus on performance, installation and video art, as well as their broader cultural background and relationship to the other arts. Some of the artists that will be studied are Cindy Sherman, Steve McQueen, Chantal Akerman, Shirin Neshat, Marina Abramovic, and Ana Mendieta.

In this class you will gain the key skills required to write a story from start to finish. You will then learn how to develop an idea into a play script for theatre - enquiring into genres of poetry, scriptwriting, and comedy in order to bring your creative endeavours into practical, tangible pieces of art. This class aims to offer you the confidence to use your voice to entertain, engage and provoke. Using storytelling methodologies and a holistic pedagogy, you will be guided through the history of theatre, the birth of voice in entertainment and its ever changing status within the creative arts. You will taught by a graduate of both the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts and The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, with a breadth of experience in Writing, Acting and Directing. The craft you learn will be based on the syllabus and Methodologies that i found to be most pertinent professionally and will give you an insight into how I work presently on scriptwriting projects as to further your own understanding of the industry.

Before I begin the Reading & Writing, Maths or English Language tutoring, I assess the child's needs and talk to them and their parents about the support that they would like. I aim to make my sessions as interesting and creative as possible to engage the children and ensure effective learning. The session is spent primarily with me teaching or working through a problem with a child. There's little to no benefit in a child working tirelessly through a task independently with me just sitting watching! As a father, a football coach and a former student with two A*s (one in Further Mathematics) and 5 A grades in my GCSEs (one in English Language), I understand how difficult it can be to support your own child in their learning. I will therefore also support with school homework and extra reading when required.

Using my wealth of experience in creative writing, production and publishing, I will teach you everything you'll need to know about your chosen area of writing, from turning an idea into a plan, right up to getting the finished article out there. I can help to bring your poetry to life, teach you the fundamentals of publishing a short story, or even help you to self-produce a play. I prefer a collaborative approach to teaching, where student and teacher work together to bring out each others potential.
