    I've been playing drums for 36 years. Initially a hobby, but the drums soon had such an appeal that I was really unbeatable.

    I liked my first performance so much that I decided to make drumming my profession.

    After a few years of drum lessons here in the Netherlands, I went to America for a year to learn the trade of the great people of the world at the Percussion Institute of Technology (PIT). A special experience I can say. Many of the things I learned there are naturally reflected in my curriculum.
