GeorgeGuitar Tutoring in Berlin for all ages and abilities.
I am an experienced and enthusiastic guitar tutor from Leeds, England, living in Berlin. I have a bachelor’s degree in jazz guitar from Leeds College of Music although I also play and teach rock, pop, funk, folk and indie music.
In lessons I aim to get students playing something they know as soon as possible in order to get excited about progress early on. We balance this with paying attention to proper technique and having one eye on the theory behind what we are playing to broaden your understand of how music works.
I am actively engaged in playing within the music scene and have a real excitement for all types of music, whether it’s learning your first chords on guitar or working on improvisation or music theory. We'll go at the right pace for you and achieve your goals together.
I have experience teaching all ages and abilities of students, having taught in primary and secondary schools as well as private tuition for adults. From complete beginners to preparing a student for their college auditions.
Lessons are tailored to suit the needs of the student, in order to have lessons which push you to learn to the best of your ability whilst still being fun and musical.

PatrickPiano Lessons in Berlin, Mitte with a Professional Musician
I'm currently studying with Dr. Yossi Reshef and teaching his piano playing techniques, which is based on a free wrist, weight play, motion control, and deliberate practice methods.
Maybe you have hurts or technical issues while playing? I know how to analyze your hand, arm and wrist motions and solve difficult passages or general problems, sometimes within minutes.
I'm a classical pianist, specializing in a repertoire of classical composers, such as Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Beethoven, Schubert, and Mozart, but I'm open to all Genres of piano music, whichever you would like to learn.
Depending on your goals, we create a schedule for you to reach it. It is not essential for me on which level you are right now, you can either play for the first time or further advance your piano techniques.
Beside piano technique, I can also teach you how to accompaign yourself or someone else singing, and how to easily arrange a song for piano.
We can practice at my studio in Mitte (Behrenstrasse 23) with a Steinway&Sons Grand piano, or in my studio at Kleistpark (Potsdamer Strasse 199) where I can teach also early morning or late evening.

YunaPiano, Music theory lessons in English for all ages and levels.
I am a highly motivated and enthusiastic piano teacher from South Korea with an experience working with students from a diverse range of backgrounds and ages.
After graduating from a university in Seoul in South Korea with a B.A. in classical piano, I taught piano to foreign students in English not only in Korean.
Since September 2017, I have been working as a piano teacher at this beautiful music school in Berlin. I am teaching piano to 18 students using English and a decent amount of German.
I create professional, tailored and individual lesson plans for a diverse range of various students. In lessons, I engage actively with students and focuse on improving posture, developing practice strategies (i.e. utilizing various rhythm patterns on difficult, technical passages), and setting regular practice times, while also building a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
I am a strong interpersonal communicator and I am passionate about helping my students grow and realize their full potential. I teach with love, patience, and encouragement, and I have a strong flexibility to adapt to novel circumstances.
I give piano lessons at a music school in Reinickendorf in Berlin and I also occasionally offer piano lessons in student's own home in Berlin.
MarkJazz / Classical piano lessons from a native English speaker
Teaching is something I really enjoy. To impart knowledge to a student requires a level of understanding deeper than that of an ordinary performer, and I enjoy the challenge of expressing ideas in a personal way that is relevant to each student. To watch someone's love of music grow as a result of playing the piano is truly rewarding, and something I put a strong focus on. If you can learn to have fun at the piano and nurture your love of music it will become something truly life-affirming.
I teach on high-quality pianos. Lessons in English or German.
Reviews from my students:
"Mark is an incredibly gifted teacher and pianist. Being his student is always a pleasure, with a perfect balance of fun and discipline"
"I’m really satisfied, by both your technical knowledge and teaching skills"
"I absolutely love our lessons. I love it that you ask me how I am doing and adjust the lessons based on how I feel. I love it that sometimes you don't push me too hard, but sometimes you do and I am grateful for this. I love it that you have a certain trust in me and say that I will be able to play some pieces which gives me confidence. And lastly and most importantly, the myriad of thoughts that I always have in my head abandons me during our lessons, and this is such a fantastic feeling for which I am grateful too. Don't know what you could improve really"
