Piano Lessons in Berlin, Mitte with a Professional Musician
I'm currently studying with Dr. Yossi Reshef, and teaching a technique based on a free wrist, loose arms, weight play, motion control, and deliberate practice methods. Maybe you have hurts or technical issues while playing? that is a clear indicator for a wrong technique. It is actually possible to detect all kind of hurts and lead them back to techniqual mistakes. I know how to analyze your hand, arm and wrist motions and solve problems for you, also difficult passages can feel much easier suddenly. I'm a classical pianist, specializing in a repertoire of classical composers, such as Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Beethoven, Schubert, and Mozart, but I'm open to all Genres of piano music, whichever you would like to learn. Depending on your goals, we create a schedule for you to reach it. It is not essential for me on which level you are right now, you can either play for the first time or further advance your piano techniques. Beside piano technique, I can also teach you how to accompaign yourself or someone else singing, and how to easily arrange a song for piano. We can practice at my studio in Mitte close to U Französische Strasse with a Steinway&Sons Grand piano, or in my studio close to U Kleistpark, where I can teach also early morning or late evening.

ABOUT ME: My name is Christian. I'm a professional musician, and have 10 years experience working as a music teacher. I teach Jazz, Classical, Rock and Pop, and Theory. Playing music just about the most fun thing a person can do and my goal is to bring that joy to my lessons. I attended King's College London, where I studied music, majoring in composition, and achieved a 1st Class (Hons) Degree. I have performed at some of London's most prestigious venues including The Royal Festival Hall, Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, Toulouse Lautrec Jazz Club, Kansas Smitty's, Wilderness Festival, The Nightjar, The Ned London, and many more. TEACHING EXPERIENCE: I have been working as a private piano, singing teacher, and music tutor for 10 years, helping students achieve their personal goals, success with their ABRSM and Trinity instrumental exams, and their desired GCSE and A Level Results. I also worked as a peripatetic teacher in a secondary school (Bishop Thomas Grant School) for three years before deciding to make my teaching practice entirely private. While at the school I taught piano, I also tutored GCSE and A Level students through their exams. I also ran the school's jazz band throughout my tenure where I taught jazz, ensemble, and improvisational skills to students on many different instruments. ABOUT OUR LESSONS: In our lessons, I will work with you to come up with a teaching plan that will best suit you. I am very open to all musical styles so will make sure that the material we are covering is always the music you want to be learning! Classical singing and piano lessons for all levels and ages
Dear parents and students, I am a professional singer and pianist from Hong Kong, having more than 10 years of experience in music teaching. Having graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor degree in music and Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel with a Master degree in classical singing (cum laude), I am currently pursuing my postgraduate study in singing at Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, under the tutelage of Valerie Guillorit. I am a holder of Licentiate Trinity College of London (LTCL) vocal and piano performance certificates, both with distinctions. Besides, I am a holder of ABRSM Grade 8 music theory certificate with merit. I have performed as soloist at a lot of occasions in Hong Kong and Europe, and the repertoire includes opera, Lied, oratorio and new music. I have given singing and piano lessons to students ranging from 2 to 40 years of age. Very happily, all of them had obtained distinctions in their ABRSM exams and some of them had won prizes in competitions. However, I do not teach them for distinctions and prizes. No matter what they get on their music journey, I love them with all my heart and I always believe that encouragement is the key. For beginners, I focus a lot on basic techniques. During the lessons, I also like to share my knowledge about history and theory, which are important building blocks to shaping a musician. For advanced learners, I would teach more about musicality and music presentation along with basic techniques. Of course, the actual teaching method depends on the personality and ability of student too. I grow up in a top English school in Hong Kong, so I can communicate in English fluently. I am confident that I will give my students the best learning experience. Please feel free to contact me if you would like a trial lesson:)

Improvisation (music) on any instrument. Jazz, Free, Pop

    John
Musical Theory for Graded Exams or as a supplement for School Music Lessons
    * John studied music at the University of Oxford, which included world-class tutorials in composition and theory across a variety of genres. Having achieved distinction in his LTCL diploma in classical piano and grade 8+ in violin, he has taken numerous exams, for which a solid understanding of musical theory has been essential. * This class is useful for anyone wishing to take ABRSM or other boards' theory exams, or as a supplement for anyone taking GCSE or A Level music. It is recommended, though not essential, to travel to John's house in the case that students do not have a piano or keyboard.

Professional guitarist graduated from the Conservatory (DEM in France) gives guitar lessons all styles and all levels in Brussels
I graduated from the Conservatoire de Nice CNRR (France) in jazz guitar. I studied there for seven years with renowned professors such as Jean Paul Ceccarelli (Sting), Pierre Bertrand, Robert Persi or Philippe Petit. My teaching method is flexible and I adapt it to the needs and desires of the student. We will discuss the technical work on the instrument, the knowledge of the neck and chords and the rhythm. With or without solfege. The goal is to provide the student with the necessary tools so that he can continue learning by himself at home.
