Many of students that I teach contact me after frustrations that they encounter while trying to learn how to play songs on their own. My solution is to always rationalize and simplify difficult songs according to your current abilities. This practically means that almost in every case my students are able to play songs they like from the very beginning. Furthermore, my goal is to use every song as a template and practically teach you how to recognize certain repeating patterns underlying each of them. In simple words, instead of spending tons of money to learn every song from scratch, you will become equipped to recognize these patterns and learn similar songs on your own. Let’s make something clear – music is not so complex as it appears to be. Some concepts just take longer for you to fully comprehend them. The sooner you start recognizing and understanding the principles behind each of the songs you play, the faster you will develop. About Me

Hello prospective guitar student! I am Moma, a doctorate-degree guitar teacher with 8 years of teaching experience 3 of which are academic. I am currently pursuing my practical training at the University of Minnesota and I am dedicated to provide premium guitar lessons to students of all ages and backgrounds in convenience of their home. I offer flexible scheduling and strive to develop a unique curriculum for each of my students that fits their musical preferences and goals the best.

i am very close to finishing my Doctoral Degree in Guitar Performance at the University of Minnesota. I also hold a Master Degree in Guitar as well as a Bachelor Degree in Guitar.

Experience / Qualifications

I performed concerts and have lectures at some of the leading guitar festivals in Europe, Asia, Australia, North and Latin America. I won prices at international guitar competitions such as 2018 Hong Kong Altamira International Guitar Competition, 2018 Miami International Guitar Competition, 2018 Guitar Foundation of America Ensemble Competition, 2018 Southern International Ensemble Competition, and many others.

Understanding music is important for anyone looking to become a musician. Music is like a language; an art and a science. Once you understand the building blocks of music, you can add colors to your canvas, so to speak. Music lessons start from the beginning and gradually work towards musical goals. Even if you are an intermediate learner, it's good to brush up on the basics. Generally, lessons are catered towards early learners with interest in mastering their instrument (voice included!)

Lessons range from 30 minutes to one hour in length and are catered to students' learning styles and strengths.
