Playing the violin might sound difficult. Being honest, it can be sometimes tricky, especially if you don't find the method which fits you the best :). I use Suzuki method for teaching the violin. Suzuki believes that everyone can learn music in the right environment. It doesn't matter how old you are, or if you have any background in music or not, I will make a tailor-made program for you based on your needs and level. More important, I will make sure that you enjoy the learning process, and you are having fun!

I’m a guitarist and guitar teacher, in Maastricht and I would like to present you my guitar lessons, also with music theory included and sessions of music for children and families. The space is bright, full of light and appropriate for children, in the center of Maastricht! Activities for all ages! I'm also prepared to teach online!

In the lessons we will be focusing on setting or developing all the required skills for the students to be able to perform independently, understand the musical language and explore their own sound, such as posture, hand coordination, rhythm, ear training, reading scores and improvisation. So far my musical exposure in many different genres allows my to create lesson which is adopted to the specific needs of my students. Hello! My name is Aga and i'm a 3d year student in Conservatorium Maastricht in Jazz Vocals. I offer singing, piano and/or music theory lessons for beginners or intermediate students. The most important thing for me is an individual approach and establishing student's goals with the learning. I am a professional violin teacher with 12 years of teaching experience based in Maastricht and I offer fun and productive lessons to people of all kind of ages and levels. I currently divide my time between teaching violin and playing as Co-Principal second violin at Philharmonie Zuidnederland, as well as freelancing in other orchestras like Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Rotterdam Philharmonisch Orkest and Nederlands Philharmonisch Orkest. I gained my Bachelor's Degree from the Royal College of Music in London with a specialisation in teaching and a Master's Degree from Musikhochschule Lübeck. I was an academist at the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in 2017/2018. Both my parents are violin teachers, so this is my world since I can remember. As soon as I started conservatory in London I started teaching privately and in a music school while I was studying performance and music pedagogy. I am proud to have very high level students that have pursued a career in music and have become exceptional violinists. My aim in the lessons is to help my students improve their technique and musicality, as well as keep them motivated. For optimal development I always keep my students involved in concerts and lessons with the piano accompanist, as well as collective classes where we play for each other and discuss topics like, for example, practicing techniques. Because I am always fully committed to my students, I like to study each case individually and prepare for each lesson beforehand. My teaching method includes a very large list of repertoire, ranging from ABRSM, Trinity and Suzuki to standard violin repertoire. I teach at home, but I can also travel to students' homes by bike or car. Lessons can be in Dutch, English, Spanish or Russian.

Hey! I give private piano lessons for kids and adults in Maastricht. I offer piano lessons based on the individual program from the level, personal interests, and aspirations. Therefore teaching methods and materials will always be chosen in consultation with the student. I have worked in music schools with children and I have taught private lessons for 5 years dealing with people of all ages. Lessons can be given in Spanish or English and it is also possible to give in my location, in yours, or by online too. It is never too late to do something you really want to do!

Hello! I am Serol, from Maastricht/Netherlands. I began my musical training at a very young age. I started to play the piano at age of five and at age of eleven I started my oboe education at the conservatory in Istanbul. I graduated at Istanbul University State Conservatory with the honorary ‘outstanding success award’. I moved to Netherlands to study my bachelor in oboe at Conservatorium Maastricht and I graduated from there with Distinction. In addition I also graduated from oboe with highest honor degree in London College of Music, with theory of music and piano as my side subjects. I have got the teaching certificate at Conservatorium Maastricht. I attended as teacher to Orlando Samenspel Cursus and gave lectures and masterclasses. Furthermore, I did my internship at Muziekschool Kumulus and gave lessons in there. Beside that I gave a workshop at Bruis Festival as a representer of Muziekschool Kumulus in the same year. I attended to Suzuki Method Teaching Workshop of Müge Eraydın Suzuki Education ABRSM Music School in Istanbul, Turkey. Currently I'm oboe teacher in UWC Maastricht and Dé Muziekschool Deurne. I performed with various orchestras as oboe soloist, most recently I performed as oboe soloist in a concert tour in multiple cities in the Netherlands. Beside Classical Music, I am also playing in a broad spectrum of genres, e.g. Jazz, Tango, film music etc. Students of every age are welcome to my Oboe Class. I can teach every genre of music such as playing movie music with oboe, playing oboe sonatas and concertos etc.. As an alumni of Conservatorium Maastricht, I am also willing to help students who would like to enter to conservatories and do auditions. Hello everyone. My name is Maria and I love playing and teaching cello. The nice, emotional, and depth sound of the cello attracted my interest from the age of four and I decided from this young age to start learning how to play this beautiful instrument. As the years were passing by I was getting more and more impressed from the glory of music and of the cello. So my love and my passion became a profession. I am from Greece and I lived in the Netherlands for the last five years. I finished my Bachelor studies in cello performance at The Royal Conservatory of The Hague and I obtained a certificate in Music Education. Now I am continuing my master studies at Conservatorium Maastricht and I work in parallel as a freelance cellist and cello teacher. Teaching is my passion. In the last 5 years, I teach regularly. Beginners, elder amateur cellist, advanced teenagers, and kids of all ages are some of my students. I have plenty of patience, and I am able to adapt my system to the needs and capacities of each student. As a teacher, I focuse on developing the cello technique and the musicality of my students. Basic music theory, rhythm, and ear training are part of her lessons too. The focus of my teaching is to make my student love the process of learning music and cello. I'm a critically acclaimed pianist from Denmark, with studies from The Royal Danish Academy of Music, Copenhagen and Rimsky Korsakov Conservatory, St Petersburg, now working with professor Igor Roma at the Maastricht Conservatorium. I have received prizes in national and international competitions, and received funding from bigger Danish foundations.
