This class is for beginner and intermediate musicians who wish to improve their musicianship, whether it be for leisure purposes or preparing for exams such as GCSE, A-Level, ABRSM or equivalent. I can provide tutoring on piano, composition, music theory, 4 part harmony/counterpoint, or any combinations thereof.

This class is for anyone who's looking to pick up a new musical instrument! It'll be up to the student or parent how they would like classes conducted and whether they would prefer to have assignments. It would be delightful to meet people from all ages and all walks of life.

I teach beginning and advanced aspiring pianists of all ages (3+) with a focus on immersing students in the magical world of music and getting the best possible quality out of them by challenging to achieve more than assumed possible. Music is a soul-enriching experience and developing musical skills can be a great gift for a lifetime. With solo piano performance degrees from the Royal Academy of Music (London) and the Universität der Künste (Berlin) I am a highly qualified award-winning concert pianist with almost 20 years of teaching experience and a passion for education. My musical learning was also furthered by postgraduate musicological studies at Royal Holloway and serious interests in philosophy, religions, history, civilization, literature, poetry, law, languages as well as many other things. I loved my musical journey which included not only piano but also composition, the violin, recorder, flute, harpsichord and clavichord from childhood onwards. In the last two decades, teaching has been giving meaning to my life and I enjoy helping others to find fulfillment as well as joy in their learning. My teaching approach is comprehensive, builds up confidence and incorporates a multidisciplinary orientation thanks to which students get promptly enthused over their learning. There is a focus on enhancing musical understanding, developing or improving reading skills, building up technique, expanding repertoire in a healthy way and foundationally preventing or sorting out injuries as well as pain-related problems. Although my teaching style is primarily quality-oriented with regards to skills, I believe that happiness, confidence, results and a sane sense of achievement are important components to balance in holistic education and offer a non-judgemental, patient, kind, equality-oriented, multicultural environment in which learning can thrive. I encourage students to perform in concerts, festivals, exams and competitions. Many have won prizes in numerous competitions and passed exams with distinctions. Others have improved their technical skills as well as understanding of music, thus opening more doors and finding professional opportunities in the world of music.

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

Maarten will give you the piano lessons. He can teach classical, and jazz piano. He graduated his studies in the conservatory of Amsterdam with prof. Jan Wijn and graduated with the highest score among piano students (Bachelor of Music, piano). He played several solo and chamber music concerts in concert hall, church, museum, library, hospital and elderly houses. He is regularly invited by Belgium Chamber music festival to play with famous musicians such as guitarist philip Catherine. Recently he graduated master degree in Brussels Conservatorium studying with prof. Boyan Vodenitcharov. Since he has a lot of knowledge of harmonization and counterpoints, he has composed and arranged many works and played many of his own pieces in concerts. Asako will give the cello lessons. She has master degree, cello performance and chamber music, also has an academic university diploma for Musicology. She studied in Japan, Hungary (Franz Liszt Academy), Norway (Norway Academy of Music), and Netherlands (Conservatorium van Amsterdam, Utrecht Conservatoire).She can teach in Japanese, English and on a basic level in Hungarian and French. Asako can teach the cello for all levels and ages. Especially She is enthusiastic about teaching.

For beginners, I start with the basics of the piano and begin with teaching Tutor books. Pianoma is an online school where you can learn piano at home and with schedule flexibility. Our school works with teachers that speak 7 different languages. Students learn comfortably from their homes and the education that they receive is proved to have the same validity as in person lessons, if performed with the right means and the right method, obviously! I specialize in performance, teaching for 6+ years and I enjoy sharing knowledge and experience with anyone interested in this beautiful instrument. In these classes, you will learn the practical and theory of playing the violin from level 0, as well as how to develop your skills with the highest musical, technical, and interpretation levels. My goal is to make learning music fun, enjoyable, and interesting. I am looking forward to meeting you in my classes.

I would like to offer piano lessons for those who want to learn to play the piano at home and offer an online course that way. I have a Masters in Piano and teaching experience. Of course we have different requirements than usual but I am sure that I can help you. I like to listen and we can exchange ideas via discord or zoom. I will send you notes and practice tips for home. You can ask me questions and I'll show you via video what we want to learn. If you are still going to elementary school, it is best to have a parent help you during class and can, for example, provide a good internet connection and study material, if you are not yet able to use a cell phone or laptop yourself. Simplifying the study of music theory, Royal College of Music (ABRSM international curricula), London Analysis and interpretation of music (presented in Arabic and English) By using specific concepts and terms to describe musical elements such as Melody, rhythm, harmony, scale, and musical structure. These aspects work together to develop complete and balanced piano playing skills in levels Beginner, intermediate and advanced, with application and level assessment on musical works appropriate to each level (Trinity Piano, ABRSM curricula) Auditory training: Develop the ability to listen and understand music correctly.
