Hi! I am a Spanish guy. I'm here in Leuven and if you want to improve your Spanish or your level of guitar (Spanish guitar) don't doubt and call me. I'm being guitar teacher more than 10 years, and I've been a spanish teacher about 1, working with Erasmus people in Madrid.

20 year old student in Leuven who likes to help people get a lot of pleasure / support from playing the classical guitar. Just graduated after 11 years of conservatory classical guitar. 9 years basic diploma and 2 years specialization classical guitar. In addition, followed the following courses: music theory / music history / improvisation (this on electric guitar) / band coaching / ensemble playing / rock school ... Can impart the most on a technical level and in the field of interpretation on the classical guitar. In consultation with the student during the first lesson, we determine what we want to achieve by the end of the lesson / lesson series. A particular piece? For beginners: During our guitar lesson you can bring your own songs that you want to work on or together we will see what the best songs are for you and what you can learn the most from. This ranges from the basic chords that make up most pop / rock songs to playing along with the melody or accompanying yourself while singing. So you can play what you always dreamed of in no time! For advanced users: Together we look at what you want to work on in terms of rhythm, soloing or improvisation. Which styles you are familiar with or which you would like to learn to play. These lessons are ideal for you if you want to broaden your knowledge of the guitar or if it feels like you've reached a plateau you can't get past.

I am currently a master's student in classical guitar at the Lemmens institute. I have experience of teaching both children and young adults of various level. My focus point in the lessons will be the classical guitar techniques but I am open to do other styles as well with it.

I can help you to learn to play the guitar. Doesn't matter what is your level, if you want to start or improve your skills. We will work together with tablature or pentagrams, as you prefer! We will use songs and exercises, listen to music, and other methods to enjoy learning. I love to teach and every person has something special to show through music. My name is Caterina, I am a classical guitarist. I got my Master degree in Lemmensinstituut, Leuven with Raphaella Smits. I am an experienced teacher and I am offering private guitar lessons and group lessons at my place or on location for any level and age, from beginners to more advanced. I am experienced in teaching children and use my own method fitted to personal needs and interests. There is also the possibility to learn about solfege and harmony during class.

I specialize in teaching guitar to people who are new or looking to improve their guitar skills. I plan to teach in a friendly and low-stress environment and adapt my teaching methods specific to each student's needs and wants. I can teach the student to learn how to read both normal sheet music and guitar sheet music as well.

You learn the basics of guitar: strumming, with plectrum, rhythm guitar, reading tabs, reading chords, ... And this with the help of songs chosen by your teacher but also by yourself. The lesson is mainly tailored to you and what you want to learn will become our focus!

I have been playing electric guitar for 16 years and I was a member of several rock bands before. In my courses, I mostly focus on improvisation over bluesy, jazzy or simple rock chords. For those beginners, I start with some basics until we reach the required level to improvise. By taking the classes, you will learn how to accompany other instruments and enjoy together with other musicians.

In my lessons I will learn to master the instrument as much as possible. This is based on basic technique, harmonic knowledge and chords.
