NataliePiano lessons for all and Piano Therapy for students with special needs
Piano lessons are a powerful tool to improve concentration and give students a sense of satisfaction. Learning the piano could have a very beneficial effect on anyone with dyslexia or any other learning difficulties if the teacher employs slightly different methods, so the process of learning remains enjoyable but not frustrating. With my experience and qualification in teaching the piano and working for many years as a special needs teacher and assessor, I am ideally placed to create a specific approach for your or your child's needs. At the same time as teaching piano up to Trinity College Certificate Level (and up to ABRSM Grade 8), I am also giving piano lessons specifically designed for students who did not progress as expected and failed to reach customary milestones in compulsory education in order to overcome the challenges and help them succeed in learning to play the piano. Please do not hesitate to contact me directly if you have any questions or wish to discuss your individual situation.
XavierPIANO AND MUSIC FOR ALL AGES / Classes in LAUSANNE.
After a very long experience as a piano teacher, being in permanent research on new ways to approach the teaching and a permanent pedagogic and didactic investigation for each student: My goal is to develop the best motivational scenario for each student and each situation in order to achieve the short and long term goals in the most effective, deep and captivating way possible. So, here are some lines of my way of working and the objectives of the courses: - Learn the language of music through improvisation, writing, movement, body and instrument in a progressive way. - Discover and contextualize the elements that create and connect sounds and rhythms. - Develop these skills from play and vocal and instrumental practice. - Practice the instrument from the first lessons. - To have the keys to approach the musical language and the reading of the partitions. - Approach in a playful and creative way by the composition the learning of the elements of counterpoint and harmony. - Discover the magic of this musical world from the needs and expectations of students in an environment conducive to learning, listening and communication, essential elements to make music and for life. Tour the world can play the piano. Why not you? "Music education is actually the education of the person" according to Claudio Abbado. Professor available, flexible, reliable and easy communication. Languages: Catalan and Spanish (nursery) French, English and Italian (fluent) Xavier, Graduate in Pedagogy of Music, piano specialty. Esmuc Bachelor and Master in mixed composition. CédricPiano lessons in Lausanne in private or semi-private.
Program First of all, the discovery of the instrument and its multiple possibilities of sound and musical expression, through the repertoire and improvisation. Next comes the development of the pupil's musicality and the acquisition of the instrumental bases, which will, in a later phase, be deepened to finally develop the pupil's autonomy and personality. Objectives and skills Adaptation of the body to the instrument - development of a natural position on the piano Coordination of gestures, position and independence of the hands. Listening development - learning to listen to your own play and that of others Development of the sense of rhythm - simple rhythm on a pulsation at the beginning, towards a refinement of precision Phrase and musical breathing Play in public Musical expression, improvisation Sight reading (music theory) Regarding this last point, it is important to specify that with Apolline, music theory is integrated into the instrument lesson, sparingly and in a manner consistent with the subject studied by the child. Thus, theory sticks to practice and becomes digestible and interesting. Learning music with Apolline How to leave the usually rigid framework of the first years of musical learning that is found in most schools in Switzerland? Based in Lausanne, Apolline has a different philosophy. Rather than offering children and adolescents to learn in individual lessons, lessons in small groups - from 2 to 3 students, depending on the instrument - are highlighted. Working in a group offers many advantages to beginners or inexperienced students. Apolline offers her students the possibility of joining a group workshop, in addition to the basic instrument course, so that they can play with other musicians of their age. Accompanied by a teacher, they will learn to play in groups, through covers or their own compositions.
