About Me

Private lessons in French and mathematics in NYC
I graduated from Ecole Centrale Paris and UC Berkeley University. I gave lessons in France to high school students, undergraduate students and preparatory students. I like to give lessons and accompany my students as best as I can. I am therefore willing to give French lessons for the preparation of the French baccalaureate as well as the lower levels and math lessons for all levels.

Maxime
High School (or other) science class, student of Columbia
I did 2 years of prep in France then integrated Telecom ParisTech (top 5 engineering schools).

Paul
Private lessons in mathematics and physics
Hello, My name is Paul, I am currently a Master of Operations Research at Columbia University, having graduated from Supelec in Paris. I propose courses of maths or physics level high school, support or deepening, as well as a scientific opening for the students of first / final S wishing to integrate a preparatory class in view of the grandes écoles.

Léa
Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry Tutoring with a Columbia Business School and a Leading French Engineering Grande École Graduate
Hi! I recently graduated from my Master of Science degree from Columbia Business School and from Télécom ParisTech in Paris, which is one of the top three French Engineering Grandes Écoles. Prior to that, I earned my "Baccalauréat S" with high distinction and then I completed one of the most demanding programs in Mathematics and Physics at Lycée Henri IV in Paris, called "Classes Préparatoires aux Grandes Écoles". I have a strong analytical background in Mathematics and Physics thanks to my studies. When I was in France, I accompanied many High School and Bachelor students, who all achieved great results. I would be happy to help whoever may need, and can help you prepare for SAT. My work is results oriented. I am extremely patient and structure each student's lessons according to the needs of the individual. Do not hesitate to contact me for any question, Léa

Benoit
Private math lessons - Limoges or online - Qualified and experienced math teacher
I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I have been giving private mathematics lessons daily for over ten years. The students who follow my private lessons benefit from personalized support. The first session is devoted to an in-depth assessment of the student's mathematical knowledge. The objective is to detect its weak points and understand their origin in order to adapt my courses to its needs. I develop a tailor-made remediation program for each of my students aimed at filling each of their gaps. Over the course of the sessions, the student builds a solid foundation for learning and regains self-confidence. At the same time, I help him acquire a work methodology that allows him to gradually become autonomous in his studies. I have a perfect knowledge of the mathematics program of the College and the High School (from the Sixth to the Terminale). During my formative years, I studied and developed many techniques that make it easier to learn math. The strength of my pedagogical approach lies in my ability to explain in a simple way everything that the student finds complicated. I am passionate about this job because it gives me the opportunity to guide dropout students on the path to success. It is a real pleasure to see them evolve and come to terms with the fantastic world of mathematics. I provide my private lessons in Limoges (at the student's home) or remotely (online via the internet). My distance learning courses take place on an interactive online whiteboard. This board is specially designed to promote student/teacher interaction on the internet. Thanks to this educational tool, my online courses are as effective as home courses. The student only needs an internet connection and a computer, tablet, or smartphone to take advantage of it.

Private coding / programming lessons with python
Python is one of the best, if not the best, language to start learning programming. It is also one of the most widely used languages today, especially in cutting-edge areas such as machine learning. This popularity means that Python is constantly evolving. It offers a wide range of tools and libraries, which are free and very varied. As an aeronautical engineer, I like to share my knowledge and derive satisfaction from it by teaching and motivating others. I'm used to working with people of different ages. I believe in the importance of segmenting learning, visualizing progress, setting concrete goals and practicing regularly. Beyond these general principles, there is no magic rule or method. Some approaches work with some students but not with others. Adaptation to individual needs is therefore the main objective of private lessons. So I will do my best to find what motivates and helps my student.

Mavi
Math, Physics and Science tutoring for children and teenagers: IB MYP, IGCSE, and GCSE.
I am Mavi, a physics engineer working at an aerospace company. I have been teaching private lessons at the primary, secondary, high school, and university preparatory levels for 9 years. I teach mathematics, physics, chemistry, and science. I have a good command of the curricula of IB, IGCSE, American, Hong Kong, and international schools. Additionally, I hold the position of president at the Astronomy Society, where I foster my students' interest in astronomy and science beyond the lessons. I prepare the learning environment by incorporating experiments and exploration, moving away from rote education. I often bring experimental materials to class, aiming to make learning memorable through hands-on experiments. As an educational mentor, I approach my students as if they were my siblings, valuing creativity. I have a deep passion for mathematics, physics, and science. I am dedicated to helping students understand and learn because life encompasses both SCIENCE and ART. The more people I can inspire to know, understand, and love mathematics, physics, and chemistry, the more proud I am. Are you curious about how nature works? Let's explore together!

Salah Eddine
Math support courses for high school students (Science Maths, Science Exp, Letters ...)
As a teaching professional, I have always enjoyed sharing my knowledge. My goal is to provide quality education. I am aware that some topics may seem complex, but often this is simply the result of an inadequate explanation by the teacher. With me, you will discover a real interest in the material! We strive together to achieve academic excellence, overcoming the shortcomings and difficulties encountered by your child. Studies will become a pleasant experience for him. In addition to the courses, I can also help with school orientation, identifying their preferences and highlighting the advantages and benefits of a fulfilling educational ambition. The sessions generally take place according to the following stages: 1️⃣ The first sessions are devoted to the assessment of the student's level in order to detect existing gaps. 2️⃣ Next, we create a personalized plan to address these gaps, including the number of hours of work needed, specific areas to focus on, and appropriate training and development exercises. 3️⃣ We stay in constant contact with the student's class teacher, to keep up to date with the latest requirements and ensure a consistent approach. 4️⃣ Subsequently, I provide exams similar to those that are likely to be asked in class, to prepare the student effectively. 5️⃣ Upon request, I write a regular report, usually monthly, to keep parents informed of their child's progress throughout their course. I adapt my methodology according to the specific needs of each student, thus offering them a personalized and adapted work approach. In addition, I offer crash courses for students preparing for the start of the school year, allowing them to start the year well prepared, with a solid lead on the school curriculum. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me. I will be happy to help you.
