Piano lessons 🎹 and music theory 🎼 for every age and every level!

My name is Gina an teach piano and music theory for more than 5 years to children, teenagers and adults of every age.
I consider myself a musician in a more holistic way than just a pianist, having experienced also multiple other instruments such as the viola, the tampouras (traditional byzantine instrument), guitar and voice, as well as different choirs and orchestras. At the age of 21 I gained my first professional degree in harmony of music from the Conservatory "EHOGENESIS" and one year after in classical piano from the Conservatory of Saint-Dimitris. Meanwhile, I was accepted at "The Royal Conservatory" of The Hague, to continue more advanced piano studies. Now I live, study and teach piano in The Hague and not only!

The construction of the lessons is tailored on each student's needs and wishes. I choose pieces and exercises from different books, while guiding the students on practising songs that they personally like. I also provide basic music theory notes and knowledge, to help with the understanding of the piano and music in general.
Every lesson is an opportunity to learn something new with main purpose the musicality, expression and enjoyment! The piano lessons are fun and productive at the same time!

You can also listen to some of my
piano recordings here ⬇️

Celia
Professional pianist, Piano Teacher and Music Therapy student offer music and piano lessons in the Netherlands. Good quality :)
Piano performance & Music therapy Hello! My name is Celia. I’m from Spain and I’m currently studying Music Therapy at the Rotterdam conservatory. I recently become a Music Therapy intern at Florence, The Hague. I obtained my bachelor diploma in piano performance in 2016. I have performed concerts as a soloist, in duet with other pianists and in bigger ensembles/orchestras. Since I moved to the Netherlands, I’m also part of a music trio where we perform pop, jazz, arrangements and compositions from our singer. All these experiences together give me for sure a big capacity of working repertoire and understand the different needs of my students as a teacher! 🙂 As I’m in education as a therapist, I also use all my knowledge in combination with Music Therapy skills with all my students and especially with people who demand a different experience during a music lesson. Music Therapy techniques allow you to play music without any knowledge of theory, so it’s very useful when in the middle of the lesson you need a break or when you just need to connect with yourself, for example. Music Therapy triggers your curiosity 😉 Learn & explore During more than 10 years of experience as a teacher, I have worked all kind of people: children, adults, people with disabilities, families… I’m quite flexible and able to adapt my way of teaching to the circumstances! I like to work individually and in groups. Each way has its own advantages! In my lessons I use all methods I could experiment myself among my piano career; I’m also always open for new knowledge, repertoire and ways of working what my students may propose me. It’s fascinating how I never stop learning new repertoire and music styles thanks to my students! I try to offer music in a different way for every student according to their needs, with creativity and a relaxed ambience where the student can learn and explore. Each person has his/her own rhythm… which in my opinion is very important to respect. I also work with music theory, explaining concepts to my students from the pieces we play. I find this way is effective, instructive and much more motivating 🙂 In my lessons, we can work on classical, jazz, pop, arrangements, 4-hands piano music, improvisation and much more! Happiness Music needs a bit of commitment. It’s like a plant: a bit of water every day is much better than a lot of water just one day per week! However, every plant is different, and in the end, the important thing is that you feel happy and motivated during your learning process. This is also important for me, so for sure I always try my best to help my students in that aspect. The enjoyment of music (and everything) makes you learn much faster, don’t you think? Feel free to ask any kind of question! :)

Violin for everyone! Books provided. ABRSM/Trinity possible
:) Hello! I've studied at the Royal Conservatoire where I followed the “Master in education”. I teach at a studio in the city center or at your place if you wish. I can also do online lessons if you like the idea. I have a small keyboard connected to my laptop and music making is guaranteed even online! You'll spare some money too as I will provide lesson-by-lesson all the needed books and repertoire. You can play from your screen or even print at home the necessary sheets for the lesson rather than buying unnecessary extras. I graduated cum laude in my country and specialized in violin education here in Den Haag. I attended masterclasses and workshops with many celebrated musicians. As an orchestral violin player, I toured all over the world from Europe to China, and played with conductors such as Riccardo Muti, Wayne Marshall, John Axelrod, Pascal Rophè and many others. As a teacher, I have been teaching full-time from 2015 and got very good experience ever since. I have familiarity with all the most common syllabi such as Trinity, ABRSM or Suzuki. I like using technology but also new repertoire with different styles in my classes, I generally follow and develop my own pupil's musical interests. If you are a total beginner without any experience or an advanced musician, this class is suited for you! :)

Harp, Piano and Music lessons/workshops for students of any age
By mixing this learning together with my harp (and basic piano) skills, my goal as a Music teacher now is not only to teach you “the right notes”: I will do my best for you to enjoy Music, to discover the instruments, to be creative and curious, to give space to your ideas and to express yourself through playing, using few words but a lot of practice. Every lesson will be a moment of reciprocal exchange of knowledge and ambitions, a new adventure for everyone to learn from each other.

Valentina
Have fun by learning how to play the clarinet and discovering how the music works!
Do you want to have fun learning how to play the most beautiful instrument in the world or improve your skills with it? I'd be delighted to do it with you! I'm a classical clarinetist, I have two masters (recently graduated at Codarts) and different experience in orchestra, chamber music and teaching! My goal as a teacher is to stimulate the student to study in order to be at the disposal of music and not a passive player as can happen many times when you undertake a new study. That is why I like to play with my students and organize little private concerts and try-out. Concerning the music theory lessons, I am not going to bore you with long and incomprehensible explanations! We will study it in a fun and effective way! I've been studying music since I'm five years old and I started with the Kodaly method that made me approach music in a very natural way! I hope to see you soon!

Gregor

Eight years of teaching experience allow me to adapt the teaching process to the individual needs of the student and my active concert career keeps the enthusiasm fresh.
