I am offering harp and music theory lessons to students of all backgrounds, levels, and ages. I am currently in the process of completing my Doctor of Musical Arts at the CUNY Graduate Center. I hope to transfer the skills and knowledge I have obtained from working with some of the most renowned teachers to my own students.

I am currently a student at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles. I am in my third bachelor. I have followed harp lessons for 13 years with various renowned teachers such as Eline Groslot and Annie Lavoisier. In this period I also gained a lot of experience as a concert harpist. With, among other things, the second prize in the competition Français de la Harpe (2017). And for 3 years I also give private lessons in harp and solfège. These lessons focus on both (young) children who want to learn harp and adults who want to start with harp. Each student is guided at his own pace and the lessons are adapted to the wishes of each student. Also, solfège lessons are adapted as much as possible to the pace of the student.

Emily is experience in teaching pedal and lever harp to a variety of students. She is able to teach harp to students above the age of 6 and from a beginner standard to diploma. She is able to prepare students for ABRSM and Trinity examinations. She is extremely patient and flexible, adapting her teaching to suit different learning styles. Emily has dedicated much of her career to pedagogy and won the RBC pedagogy prize in 2021.
