If you want to learn English or improve your English, I may be the right teacher for you. I offer less that are fun, interactive and based on what my students need and want to learn. I do this through a variety of activities to help you build your skills; including role-playing games (based on real-life situations), Q&A's and games. The goal is to keep you talking! The lessons are mainly given in English, so you can learn and practice English as much as possible during the lesson. Don't worry about making mistakes; By making mistakes and learning from them, you even speak better. Repetition is an important part of my lessons. I often go back to check if you remember what has progressed in previous lessons. I also offer classes aimed at preparing for international English exams such as the IELTS and TOEFL. Before we meet for our lessons, I want to know your reasons for learning English. If you already have some knowledge of English, I will determine your exact level. Once I know your needs, interests and level, I can select the right materials and design the right course for you. We can work with a textbook (plus extra material) or with my own teaching materials. I use videos, slides, worksheets and other teaching materials. If you like, I can also email you exercises and resources so you can continue learning independently. If in doubt, you can always reach me via WhatsApp email. Our lessons can be online (with Zoom, Skype or a platform of your choice), or I can come to your home (in Haarlem, Velserbroek, Santpoort-Zuid, Santport-Noord, Driehuis, Beverwijk, IJmuiden or Overveen). Lessons can be one-on-one or in a small group.

I graduated from a linguistic high school in 2019, studying English, French and Spanish as subjects of focus. I also got a ESABAC degree (French diploma).
