SebastianoLearn to Play (Jazz) Saxophone! Highly-personalized lessons that focus on the student's individual progress
Hello fellow musician!
Have you ever dreamed of becoming a saxophone player?
Wheter you are trying to become a jazz improviser, or you have just started familiarizing with the instrument, I can teach you how to:
- be able to produce a beutiful sound;
- use music theory as a practical way to play correctly over changes;
- maximize the outcome of your practice-time;
- master the technique on your horn.
As a student, I often found myself struggling with resolving a particular set of problems. I would often be confronted with higher-levelled players, wondering whether I would ever be able to express myself as they did through their music. Having been studying this music for many years, I experimented with a lot of different learning methods, only to find out that music improvisation is something that is mainly learned in a very personal, differentiated way. One of the most interesting things I experienced as an educator, when confronted with students who shared my own past insecurities, doubts, questions, and struggles, was getting to understand a part of the person in front of me; and to find a way in which they would finally be able to grasp and internalize a theoretical concept that could then enable them to formulate a more coherent musical idea. Even if every student is a unique individual, thus responding to different educational methods, I think that, over time, I was able to identify a red line around which I could create a method that can be beneficial to the majority of aspirational players.
For the past few years, I have been giving private instrument lessons to jazz players with varied backgrounds and experience.
My educative career consists of a traditional classical, MA in classical saxophone (Conservatorio G. B. Martini, Bologna), a BA in jazz saxophone (ibid.), and a BA in jazz saxophone called New York Jazz Bachelor at the Prins Claus Conservatorium Groningen which I am currently busy with.
J. t.Learn to Play Piano (Jazz, Accompanying, Songwriting, Music Theory)
Hello there, ever since I was a teenager I have always admired musicians in small and gigantic stages alike, and have wondered how such marvelous magic could possibly be created from their fingertips. If you are reading this, then maybe you feel the same way towards the piano as I do!
I can offer myself to explore with you, with my experiences coming from jazz piano playing, how it works on the piano: basic playing skills, chords and how to voice them, playing solo lines, harmonic knowledge to write your own song, learning to read a lead sheet with only melody and chords, and so many more.
Here are some of the goals that you and I can work together to make it happen:
1) Learn to play your favorite tunes on piano or electric piano
2) Learn to accompany yourself while you are singing
3) Learn to play in a band setting
4) Learn to write and play your own songs
5) Learn the keyboard skills for your home production gears (i.e. MIDI keyboard controllers)
6) Learn to improvise on the piano
Now, a little bit about myself; the moment I decided that I should try for music came much later compared to my colleagues. I started very late, and thus had to come up with methods of teaching myself fast and efficiently. And I believe that my own experiences coming from the struggles I've had could be of help to you, to understand the task at the hand better and to come up with plans on how to handle them.
Still, at the end of the day, progress by itself would be not our ultimate goal; it would be to have fun sitting in front of the piano!

ViniciusBeginner, Intermediate and Advanced Guitar Lessons
Hello, my name is Vinicius, I am a Brazilian Biologist and I am completing my Masters in Neuroscience at VU Amsterdam.
I have been playing guitar since I was 11 and I have been teaching the instrument for almost 10 years now.
I believe that motivating the student and helping him to integrate the instrument into his daily routine is the most important role that a teacher can do.
My methodology is the flipped-classroom and I use the Google Classroom platform: every week, I will write a study guide with details of what we discussed during class + references (videos/blogs/books). This can be used by the student to study carefully at their own pace. During our next class, we will discuss the points you had the most difficulty and advance your knowledge further.
I can also record videos and write essays from scratch specifically for you, whenever the material is not available online.
I learned to play the guitar on my own - later in life I had classical training at university (singing, piano and classical guitar). I play Fingerstyle guitar, popularized by artists like Andy McKee, Tommy Emmanuel and Antoine Dufour, which consists of playing melody, harmony and percussion at the same time.
ManoharPiano, Keyboard and Music Theory (For Trinity Exams also)
Online learning is the most suitable method of learning because it reduces the travel time and it also helps to avoid the hindrance of group learning. Students can learn with individual attention which will help them to correct their mistakes soon and accurately. They can have more knowledge about international music.The student will be given assignments regularly to keep in touch with what they learn. Those assignments are not so complicated and everyone can do that.
Depending on the student's interest, he/she can appear for the Grade Exams conducted by Trinity College London. If the student is willing to learn music as a hobby, that is also accepted.
Students can have flexible timings and they can attend the class on any day.
Students can learn with their own instrument so that they may have the comfort and ease while learning. They are free to contact and ask doubts anytime.
Raúl CicuéndezSaxophone lessons with professional saxophonist for all levels, children or adults. English, Español, Français
Professional saxophonist eager to teach and work to make the best of yourself!
Classes are for all levels, children or adults.
We follow a working method where you will develop in a continuous and deep way your musicality, way of playing, expressiveness and technique.
Raúl is a Spanish saxophonist who finished his MASTER DIDACTIC in 2018 in the Ecole Supérieure des Arts in Mons. Before, he also followed a MASTER of INTERPRETATION at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (2015-2017) in the class of Alain Crepin and Simon Diricq.
He studied at the "Musikene" (Higher Conservatory of Music of the Basque Country) with Eric Devallon, Tomás Jérez, Antonio Felipe Belijar and Miguel Ángel Lorente.
Passionate about multidisciplinary artistic creation, he thinks of mixing all the arts in the same show as an aesthetic finality. This type of research has been observed in his project for his final master's recital in Brussels where he created a project based on Maslow's theory of human needs hierarchy where he mixes live, recorded music from the dance, light effects and effects under the name of "according to Maslow ..."
At the level of his career as a concert artist, he has played in different ensembles (solo, duet, trio, quartet, orchestra ...) and different countries such as Japan ("Suono Italia" 2010), Belgium (2016 Musiq3 Festival) ), Artonov Festival at BOZAR in 2016 ...), France (Dax 2011 chamber music festival) or Spain (Quincena Musical Music Festival 2015, Aste Nagusia 2015, Heineken Jazzaldia 2014, Kutxa Festival 2015, Intercentros Melómano 2010).
Wouter(Bass) Guitar, Music theory and Solfège in Wittevrouwen, Utrecht
Hello (future) musician!
Do you also have a song in your head that you would like to play?
Always wanted to play electric or acoustic guitar or bass guitar?
Have you never touched a string, or are you advanced and looking for new challenges?
I have been giving guitar lessons since 2007 with great pleasure. In addition to these private lessons, I worked at the Guitar Academy in Amsterdam, at Muziekles Den Bosch and at Art in Music in Utrecht, next to my work as an executive musician. I studied at the Rockacademie in Tilburg and Musicology at Utrecht University. Broad interests, reflected in the hoevelheid styles I play and education (from pop and rock to salsa, tango and gypsy to metal and jazz). I also give solfège and music theory.
It does not matter how exotic your interest, I can help you get better! In addition, I can choose and arrange songs for you, so that there is no limit to your imagination: learn to play what you want to learn to play.
These lessons are not given in a large, impersonal music school: lesson duration and lesson dates are discussed and are flexible. Personal and smooth, easier for everyone. Besides guitar enthusiast teaching is a big passion of mine, and I think that is essential to be able to offer good lessons. Whether I teach you how to play your first songs in a few lessons, or whether we are going to pick up some tough pieces, it is a pleasant and productive learning process. Lessons in Wittevrouwen, Utrecht or at extra cost at home. If you have questions, mail or call!
