Professional violinist, soloist, concert master and teacher offering online violin lessons. I am currently employed as an assistant violin professor at the Ljubljana Music Academy and have been working as concert master of Philharmonie Salzburg and Ljubljana Soloists for the better part of the last decade. My concert experience involves soloistic and chamber music performances at prestigious venues and festivals in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Poland, Slovenia, Croatia and China. My pedagogical approach is very systematic and includes technical preparation, musical interpretation, performance practice of different styles and orchestral audition preparation. I studied violin with Igor Ozim at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg and Rainer Schmidt at the Music Academy Basel as well as baroque violin with David Plantier at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. I have lately been dedicating special attention to the performance practice of the baroque and classical eras so you are welcome to consult me on this topic as well as any other violin playing aspect. I started taking violin lessons at the age of 7. After years of training I am currently continuing my violin studies at Utrecht Conservatory. I have also attended music theory class for 6 years, because it is very useful to have some knowledge of it when playing any instrument.
