My name is Álvaro and I have been an English teacher for the last 8 years!
With a lot of experience teaching adolescents and adults, I have taught General English, Business English and preparation classes for proficiency exams such as IELTS, TOEFL iBT, ITP and others.
I am very open minded, energetic and enthusiastic about teaching and learning.

I am currently a research student at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies preparing to join a PhD program here in Japan.I have completed a Master's Degree in Language Studies: Applied Linguistics in 2020 and a Bachelor's Degree in Languages, Linguistics and Portuguese and English Literature in 2018.
