Physics, Math and Science from a PhD Student at EPFL

    Hi Everyone,
I'm a PhD student at EPFL. I did my Masters at ETH in Zurich, and have been working for a couple of years before starting my PhD.
I regularly give tuitions, and have had extensive teaching experience with tutorials throughout my studies.

If you have some interesting skills (like an instrument or a language) we can also make a knowledge exchange ;)

Support course in mathematics, physics and biology
Student in the third year of a bachelor's degree at the EPFL with a French baccalaureate, specialty mathematics mention very well, I offer support courses in scientific subjects to help students in difficulty and support them to progress.

    Grégoire
Maths, physics and chemistry for students at the gym
I am studying at the EPFL in the second year of a master's degree in science and materials engineering with a minor in physics. I am currently doing an internship at CERN for four months in the Physical Department. In Bachelor, I was in chemistry and applied physics. I am very familiar with the subjects taught at the gym since I have already given private lessons to students in Belgium. I had all kinds of students (very young and older in scientific option with advanced maths classes). I think I am a pedagogue since my students showed basic difficulties for the subjects I taught. And, after a few lessons, they caught up (and even exceeded) their classmates.

    Mathematics to Maturity
This course aims to facilitate your relationship, or that of your child, current with mathematics ... it was all too often a subject that is difficult to grasp. Student in mathematics at EPFL, I offer support classes in math, individual or in small group of friends (no more than 5). These courses are available at home around Ecublens, Renens and Lausanne; it is even possible to take them within EPFL. I have experience in school support up to the level of Maturity / Baccalaureate.

    Tuition Math-Physics-Chemistry and homework help
Student in the third year of a bachelor's degree at the EPFL with a French baccalaureate, specialty mathematics mention very well, I propose to help students in science subjects, or by support courses if the theory was not understood, but also help with homework (not necessarily scientific subjects in this case) to accompany and advance them

Hello, Student at EPFL, I am in Bachelor of Life Sciences. I offer courses at the primary and secondary levels to prepare you best for the examination of maturity. Being motorized, I also propose to give the course directly to you.

    Florent
Mathematics - Physics - Chemistry - for gymnasians or academics (bachelor cycle)
I have a bachelor of chemistry (EPFL) whose third year in Berlin, and I offer my help in chemistry, and also in physics and mathematics. The course can focus on specific points at the request of the student or on a more general program. My course is mainly for gymnasium students, and first or second year of graduate studies. It is possible to approach the different subjects - for example physics and chemistry - in the same course.

    Adam
    Mathematics
Second year student in mathematics at EPFL offers an individualized pedagogy, a help with the preparation of questions or exams.

Private lessons in math-physics or English for any level
Graduate of a very good mathematics section and a Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) with a grade A which proves a level C2 in English, finalist at the regional math Olympics for two consecutive years and currently a student at the EPFL. My goal is to help the student with my everything and to try to explain the course as easily as possible and to make it the most concrete so that his knowledge remains engraved throughout his studies. I also offer intensive help for exam preparation with exercises. For English I am ready and able to help in writing, communication, and listening for all levels.

EPFL student who did a preparation in Paris gives lessons in math, physics and chemistry. My goal is to advance the student and prepare him for exams.

    Gaspard
Course of analysis for students in maths or engineers. (University)
Hello, My name is Gaspard, I am 26 years old and I am in the thesis at EPFL in analysis. I propose mathematics courses at home or at home, the target audience is mainly first and second year students at the university in math or engineering. Experience: -Many private lessons of all ages and for a long time. -Assistanat analysis I and II for the engineering section and the maths section (so I did some exercise sheets, course reminders or some points, and the work of "tutor" at the epfl, ie the help during exercise sessions). (Several years in a row). -Assistanate in "Sobolev spaces and elliptic PDE" (course ahead) My CV: -Classe at the Mathematics Olympiad at 15 -Prepa (French system) to Louis Le Grand in Paris. -Diploma of the Ecole Normale Supérieure (License and master, maths / info) -Diploma of Oxford University (Master, Maths) -Thesis at the epfl Most: -I know very well the students of this age, the requirements as well as the program. In 2016/2017 I was assistant in charge of the engineering analysis course at EPFL, and the student analysis course in mathematics at EPFL (second semester). In 2017/2018, I was responsible for the two analysis courses (first and second semester) of students in mathematics at EPFL. I am responsible in 2018/2019 for the third year course "Sobolev spaces and elliptic partial differential equations". As a young person, I am aware of the difficulties encountered by students (concerning programs but also stress, and the difficulty of passing an exam). I also see students during exercise sessions as well as individually in my office for questions about the course etc. -I am aware of the requirements of the program, which is expected in these streams since I am responsible for the worksheets and exam correction. I took part in the writing of the exams for students studying engineering and mathematics and decided the scale. (followed by a consultation with teachers and other assistants for the courses with a large number of students, eg 180 for mechanical engineers). I want to make it clear that these courses are not necessarily reserved for students in difficulty.

Patient in nature, I will devote all the time necessary to help you find your flaws, understand your lessons, practice and prepare for your exams. My goal will also be to make you love and familiarize you with this subject. I can also help you organize yourself to be effective in your work.

    Marion
Coaching and private lessons in math, biology, chemistry, computer science and others ..
My goal is to help people feel more comfortable with certain science concepts and to progress without being a burden. I also willingly give advice rather oriented "personal coaching" to increase self-confidence in certain subjects and progress more easily. As I have been through difficult times, I am happy to be able to show students that they can do it! Student at the end of the Master of Life Sciences at EPFL, I offer private lessons in science as in math, in different types of biology but also in chemistry, computer or physics .. Feel free to ask me what you need.
