VincentFrench courses all levels - French student
I am a student at Sciences Po Paris, an international, selective research university which is among the best in human and social sciences. I am a competent, meticulous student, and genuinely committed to what he does. I find something to flourish there by acting for and with others. It will be a pleasure for me to teach my native language to all those who feel like it, just as I already do by helping young people in difficulty on a voluntary basis in various associations in Paris. I have always been attentive and listening to the needs of each student.

LauraPrimary to A level Maths and/or Conversational English for non-native speakers
Hi! My name’s Laura and I am a friendly Maths and English tutor. Although the classes usually have a fun vibe, I am dedicated to my students reaching their full potential. For example, although I have only one review here having recently started using Apprentus, one the students I tutored went from a D average student to a now independent A average student.
My preferred teaching method for Maths is going over attempted questions with my students during class time and paying particular attention to the topics which are hard to grasp. For English, I teach mostly conversational English, and usually do so through role-playing. However, I am flexible when it comes to my tutoring method.
I can teach both Maths and English in the same class slot if requested!
StavrosA-Level and GCSE Physics and Mathematics - ON LINE
I am currently a Tutor at Kaplan International College London at London Bridge.
Apart from that, I am a fully Qualified Secondary School Teacher (Science). Over the last 10 years, I have been involved in Private Tuition in the areas of Mathematics and Physics for Exam/College Preparation as well as University Level Courses. I have experience in the UK (GCSE & A-Levels), the International Baccalaureate curriculum in Physics (SL/HL) and Mathematics (SL/HL), the Australian (Year11 & 12) School System as well as Oxbridge Admission tests (PAT/STEP). Furthermore, I have worked as an Academic Researcher (Theoretical Particle Physics).
I am a full-time Private Tutor in Mathematics and Physics. A large part of my work is related to University Level tuition but also the last two grades of High School (exam preparation).
From my placements in UK and Australia I have extensive experience and knowledge in teaching 1st and 2nd year Physics courses, such as Classical Mechanics, Classical Electrodynamics, Thermodynamics, Calculus, Statistics as well as more advanced 3rd and 4th year subjects, such as Quantum Mechanics, Quantum Field Theory, Optics & Lasers, Particle Physics, Special and General Relativity etc.
Moreover, I have taught various topics in University Level mathematics, such as Calculus, Advanced/Multivariable Calculus, Algebra, Complex Analysis, Group Theory, Differential Geometry, Differential Equations, Mathematical Physics, etc.
Furthermore, I have experience in the UK schooling system and currently work with a number of London based tutoring offices, teaching Physics and Mathematics for GCSE/iGCSE and A-Levels (AQA, CCEA, OCR, WJEC ).
I also have experience in GRE Subject Tests (Physics and Mathematics) preparation as well as SAT and GMAT (Math/Quantitative/Analytic sections)
My tutoring teaching methods are highly personalized and are based on result-oriented techniques that help students overcome learning barriers. An initial assessment/evaluation and subsequently a tuition plan is made. Given that feedback is essential, I continuously communicate with the student and her/his family in order to adjust and improve the teaching experience.
More independent students will come up with their own questions and a list of topics from the syllabus that need help with. This is the best way that tutoring works. More challenged students will require a scaffolding and specific lesson structure e.g. full syllabus teaching along with homework, assessments, etc.
As seen from my CV, I have completed a Diploma in Education (DipEd, UNSW 2012) and I am a fully Qualified Secondary School Teacher. I have experience in teaching both at one-to-one and at a class setting.
The rest of my education involves a Ph.D. in Theoretical High Energy Particle Physics (University of Oxford, 2002), a Bachelors Degree in Physics (University of Ioannina 1998) and a Diploma in Business (Kent Institute of Business and Technology, 2012). I also have extensive experience in research (Theoretical Physics, 2001-2007).

MatildaKS 1 - 5 mathematics tutor also available for adult learners
My name is Matilda and I'm a Secondary Maths teacher in an outstanding school. Prior to teaching I have 7 years experience in education by being a high level maths teaching assistant and tutoring. I gained my secondary maths PGCE from Manchester metropolitan university and I also have a degree in Economics
I have always believed there is more than one way to teach mathematics which is why I learn about the children and assess how they learn, which enables me to plan series of lessons that suit their needs.
I am available for tutoring immediately. I usually start out by doing some standard questions in the first two sessions, but after I've picked up where my tutee may be struggling (or if they ask me for specific help) I make a personalised timetable of study - which usually includes a manageable amount of extra work.
I am able to tutor Monday - Friday between 8am - 8pm.
I can also accommodate weekend sessions if that suits.
I look forward to helping you out!

EliseFrench private lessons by university graduate in Letters
French private lessons are for students wishing:
- consolidate their bases in grammar, spelling
- improve their language skills (allophone students)
- improve their speaking skills (conversation classes)
-profect the written expression
- ECR exams
- prepare for the written examinations at the end of the studies (maturity, certificate of completion)
- help with the writing of works of maturity (or other works of end of studies), of dissertation
- work on argumentative texts
- acquire a method to analyze literary texts
- fill gaps
- improve their spelling
- prepare for oral exams (maturity, compulsory leaving certificates)
- learn how to perform bibliographic research
For help with writing:
The objective is above all to acquire effective tools. The pupil will thus be able to learn to structure his ideas, to argue in a coherent (and convincing) way and to enrich his vocabulary.
For the corrections of end of studies work:
so that the meeting with the student is at the most profitable, I ask him to send me his writings before the meeting.
Apart from my presence with the student, any course involves a preparation time before and after the lesson, including the work that I correct. My goal is to design an individualized course, so I take the time to write detailed comments on corrected work or tips to ensure maximum success for everyone.
For example, an editorial correction can easily be the subject of a detailed commentary of 4 typewritten pages.
For adults (FLE):
In order to optimally prepare the first ones, I take the initiative to inform myself in advance of their objectives / expectations. Whether to practice speaking in everyday life, the professional world or to practice oral presentations, I prepare either PPT or technical sheets in advance that I send by mail ( after booking on the website).
The other alternative is to make a PV of the course that I send (or that I print). Giving importance to keeping a written record on the one hand to better memorize the topics covered, on the other hand to better assimilate the spelling.
Of a general nature, a concrete situation that responds to the learner's needs is the starting point. From this situation, I address the essential grammatical points.
