Piano and Organ lessons: learn music as a discipline and as a way of living!
I just completed my Master studies at Codarts Rotterdam. Since I was very young I learnt music not only as a separate activity, but as a way to acquire an organized and disciplined mindset that I could apply to all situations in life. This is what my students will learn, together with improving their musical skills and enjoying everything that music can give us!

Sara
A concert pianist and PhD student giving piano lessons
Being naturally very skilled in sight-reading of music scores, I've realized numerous times how helpful and enjoyable can be to posses that "gift". Now, after being professor to many student of different level and aspiration, I can surely say that, despite their different ambitions in playing piano, all of them were very keen in learning how to be better in reading completely new and unknown music to them. Currently, I'm developing an approach which could efficiently help one in understanding better the composition seen for the first time, through "scanning" analysis and use of logical patterns. I'm a concert pianist with rich performing experience on worldwide stages, 1st prize winner of more then 30 international piano competitions in Europe and USA, holding Master and Postgraduate degree, currently finishing PhD and program for Concert musician at Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel.

Professor of piano and music theory by Skype (children and adults)
Hello, I am a professor of piano (Studies at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and the Jaella Institute in Paris). For beginners: The course I give is global for beginners (learning to read, solfeggio etc) so that I can give you lessons even if you have no training. We can start from scratch. For advanced students or those who have taken a break (sometimes longer) in their piano education, I often proceed to a repositioning of the technique or work directly on a repertoire of your choice. I use an effective and dynamic method and I have experience with both adults and children. I chose to give my classes by videoconference to avoid wasting time and to minimize additional costs. I give a course so you can get an idea of my method, and my side to better know your needs. Feel free to contact me for more information. HB

Zara
Classical singing and piano lessons for all levels and ages
Dear parents and students, I am a professional singer and pianist from Hong Kong, having more than 10 years of experience in music teaching. I graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor degree in music (with honors), Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel with a Master degree in classical singing (with distinction) and also the Post-master degree in classical singing (with distinction). I am currently a professional opera singer working mainly in Germany with conductors and directors from houses and studios such as Theater Rudolstadt, Lyric Opera Studio Weimar, Komische Oper Berlin and Royal Opera House. I am a holder of Licentiate Trinity College of London (LTCL) vocal and piano performance certificates, both with distinctions (97/100 for voice and 90/100 for piano). Besides, I am a holder of DipABRSM piano performance certificate and ABRSM Grade 8 music theory certificate with merit. I have been giving private singing and piano lessons to students ranging from 3 to 50 years of age. Very happily, all of them had obtained distinctions at their ABRSM exams, some of them also won first prize at competitions. However, I do not teach music because of this. Distinctions and prizes are bonuses, but most importantly, I hope my students can enjoy and understand music. For beginners, I focus very much on building basic techniques. Alongside with that, I spend a little time on every lesson for ear training, music theory, music history, sight-reading/sight-singing, music composition, instrumentation and conducting, depending on the interest of the student. For more advanced students, I teach more about musicality and presentation. I aim to provide all-round knowledge to my students so they will be well equipped for future development. For piano students who are at the beginning of their music journey, I use a lot of creative ways to teach basic knowledge such as rhythm and fingering. These creative ways include colorful presentation slides, arranging a tailor-made version of the songs they like and introducing fun games to keep them motivated. Each student will get something different because everyone is different. As an instructor of vocal masterclasses for choir students in Hong Kong, I see myself as the person who: -- opens the door of fundamental vocal techniques for the students; -- influences them to be confident; -- shows them the beauty of human voice and vocal music; -- teaches them to embrace the others without judgement. My way and attitude of teaching was proved to be successful with a lot of positive feedback. I tend to plan my classes in detail, and give notes to students every lesson. In this case, the students can follow the lessons easily and make the best out of their time. I do not make my students always say "yes" and "okay", I like to work with them and they are always welcome to tell me their needs. Since I grew up at one of the best English schools in Hong Kong (Belilios Public School) and I have a lot of English-speaking students, I can communicate in English very fluently without accent. Besides English, Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese are my mother tongues. I am also knowledgeable in German, French and Italian. I am confident that I will provide my students the best learning experience.
