Classical Piano Lesson by experienced pianist (piano/fortepiano)

First of all, you shouldn’t choose an amateur teacher for the reason of a cheap price.
I struggled to play the piano at a young age because I had a bad amateur piano teacher before I found a better teacher who had certain experiences and knowledge as a concert pianist. After years of trying to remove serious bad behaviors and techniques in the piano, I became very conscious of using my body proper way while practicing. Since then I have had no injury and everything stays very natural in my body. It took more than 10 years to get this method in my body. Now I’m ready to share it but also I need a certain concentration from students in my lesson.
Young students who need to prepare for competitions, auditions, and exams are appreciated with great passion. Also, serious amateurs and beginners are very welcome.

Biography
Shintaro is considered a unique pianist as performing modern and historical pianos parallel. He spent his childhood and student years in Japan. He already received first prizes at several known national piano competitions in Japan while he was studying at Kyoto City University of Arts. At the same time, his interests carried forward him to play chamber music, Lied duo, and historical practices on historical fortepianos. He received the first prize at the Orpheus-Swiss Chamber Music Competition participated by master students of all Swiss conservatories in 2014, and the second prize at The Rotary International in Lugano. Shintaro moved to the Netherlands in 2015, and he completed his master of fortepiano (historical pianos) at The Hague Royal Conservatory. About Me

Hello,

I am very passionate about teaching piano for all ages. Preferably people already can read notes and rhythms. Since I needed to rebuild all my techniques when I was 16 with excellent Brazilian teacher Claudio Soares, I always love to share his method with my students. It’s about having consciousness of your body, having the right forms in front of the instrument, varieties of different touches, and so on. It takes time and sometimes you might get bored by too little progress. You have to be patient when you need to build something new with your body and brain and then at some point, you will be surprised that you got it. If you are very serious with music and piano, I would love to find and solve
your musical and technical issues together.

Norica
Piano lessons & music theory for beginners and intermediates /ABRSM preparations
Hi there! My name is Norica. I am a pianist and a piano teacher from Tokyo. Just quickly to the point: My approach is holistic and systematic. It uses lots of fun exercises and nice educational materials from Japan in addition to the Internationally recognized standard books. (Don't worry, you don't have to understand Japanese!) You learn not only how to play piano but also how music works- music theory. I know what my students are good at and not so good at right off the bat. That's why I can tailor the lesson plans to their goals and needs. Also, if you like to take an ABRSM exam, the syllables will be tailored accordingly. So what will be tested on the day of the exam is integrated into the lessons and my class/lesson offers all-round preparation for the exam. Another important aspect of my lesson is to focus on improving cognitive skills - increasing memory, right-hand-left-hand-coordination, sustained attention, nonverbal communication, and a feeling of independence and freedom. I do so with unique materials from Japan and fun training. Currently students from 5 to 72 years old are taking my lessons. As an educator, I am committed to the process of learning while making lessons enjoyable and constructive. Please drop me a line if you're interested. If you have any questions about the lesson, feel free to ask. I will be happy to answer all your questions! Thank you

Piano Lessons with two Grand Pianos. Preparations for ABRSM and Competition.
There are two grand pianos at the location in Den Haag. There will be enough distance between the student and the teacher. For children, it is important to develop basic musical skills through Singing, Rythmique, and Ear training besides piano playing. I use one technical exercise book, the main textbook, and a theory book. Through these 3 books, students learn different aspects of music and they naturally get ready for exams and grades. After acquiring basic skills, students study Harmony and Chord exercises too. These are useful for playing pops and jazz, and they obtain a deeper understanding of classical pieces too. Private Piano lesson, from age 4 and above. Children can start the lesson after being able to read the numbers from 1 to 5 and the alphabet from A to G. Advanced students who want to prepare for competitions, auditions, ABRSM, GCSE, IB exams, or the entrance exam of the conservatory. The concert is held annually together with students of flute, violin, and composition teachers. For the ages 1-7 years, I have group Rhythmique lessons.

Enjoy the music! Bassoon, Basic Piano lessons and Music Theory.
Highly dedicated and passionate teacher. Age does not matter when it comes to learning, just enjoying it. Lessons for beginners to more advanced students. Always trying to keep a creative environment where the students can express themselves in all aspects. I believe that it is necessary to be constant. The ideal would be one hour or hour and a half a week, but that depends on the student availability. I would provide a personal adaptation. I like playing games, singing and coming up to most creative solutions for learning fast inside of a save space for questions and imagination of the student. It is very important to motivate the students regarding to their music tastes. I consider myself an involved and motivated musician. I am constantly trying to learn new styles and enjoy so much doing it. At the moment I am studying my second bachelor degree in music, specifically in Early Music. I am very flexible with schedules for lessons so coming to a common point should not be very difficult.

Piano and Music Creativity for kids and adults - Preparation for ABRSM exams
I am a composer and pianist and I give piano lessons to kids and adults of a wide range of levels! Feel free to contact me if you are interested in learning how to play the piano or if you are curious about music theory or how to make your own music! In my classes, my goal is to approach piano playing in a holistic way, starting with a healthy posture, but also musical expression. We will work on memory, on the dependency of each hand and finger, integrating in every lesson the music theory and singing along with exercises on rhythm (TAKADIMI system of rhythm solfege) and last but not least, creation (through improvisation and other creative tasks) which will offer you the possibility to craft and master in a deeper level your piano skills. The structure and the material of the lesson derive from established piano methods and further music bibliography and they are adjusted to your skills, preferences, and wishes. I am always interested in transcribing some of my pupils' favorite pieces on piano according to their skills, something that often is very useful and fruitful for their progress. In the first lesson we will talk about your interests, motivation, and goals and we will create together a personal course structure. Experience in ABRSM piano performance exams in case you are interested in achieving a grade. Music demands patience and practice, but all these become easier when you keep your motivation alive by enjoying the process!
