Private chess lessons for beginner and intermediate level
Chess is something amazing!! Or, as an Indian proverb says, it's a lake where a mosquito can drink and an elephant can swim. It doesn't matter if you don't know anything about this subject and you want to get into it or if you already know how to play and you want to master your skills, I can help you with that. It's scientifically proven that chess helps you to develop and strengthen many aptitudes such as: efficient planning, creativity, self-criticism, discipline, logical reasoning, problem solving and concentration. That's why playing chess is so good for mental health or children and adults. But also, and even more important, it's fun!! I've been playing chess since I was 5 years old, competing at an international level and being awarded many times. I've also given chess lessons since I was 15 until now, when I'm 25. With my classes, you'll learn all the strategies and tactics while focusing in the three parts of a chess game: the opening, the middle game and the endgame.

Learn to play chess well, all levels, all ages

The course is divided into three parts: A theoretical part where I show you typical tactical topics, then the student solves exercises and finally we play games.

Chess lessons for beginners and amateurs (<1500) by a triple Belgian junior champion!
I invite you to discover the game of chess while having fun and to improve your skills (<1500 elo) dynamically. No more endless worksheets where children scribble pictures while losing their concentration! Let us visit together the main themes of chess thanks to examples and / or extracts from games, by analyzing positions together and by replaying the principles to assimilate them well. About me : I started my first tournaments at the age of 10. I won 3x the title of Belgian champion in my category during the Belgian youth championships and have participated in many international tournaments (such as European and even world championships). I represented Belgium in Georgia during the European team championship. I started teaching beginners at the age of 12 when I opened a chess club in my high school. We also won a cup during the inter-schools of the same year! I then assisted a chess teacher at another school and then gave private chess lessons. I still give private lessons online, via Skype. Since 2019 I have been teaching weekly chess lessons for young people in a club (8 - 18 years old).

PRIVATE ONLINE CHESS COURSE FROM BEGINNER TO 1600 ELO
Hello wood pusher, I suggest giving you lessons to help you progress. From pure beginner to club player we will build together a personalized program according to your expectations I'm at 1800 elo at the moment and I'm working for it to go up and my best performance in long game tournament this year was at 1950 elo. I love chess and I would like to live from my passion :) The interest of private lessons is to answer your concrete problems and do personalized work Basic in my methodology I work the end of the game which allows to give a good basis on static weaknesses (exploded pawn structure ...) and a better understanding of previous choices to avoid them in: opening, mid game ... Then I adapt to your needs? Lost in the Sicilian, what to do against such opening? ...

Benoit
Beginner chess lessons at 1800 elo at home or by webcam
I propose to give lessons from beginner level up to 1800 level, for all ages (from 6 or 7 years old) and whatever your goal (beat a friend, his dad or become a competitor) . I have particularly a very good contact with children and teenagers. The idea is to learn without worrying, in complete relaxation. Course schedule: The lessons take place by Skype, via the sharing of my screen (and the diagrams that I select). Sometimes we will have to do some exercises on Liches to make sure that the concepts have been understood. The Internet has the advantage of efficiency, the diagrams being already ready, it even goes faster than live and I could see that this support does not prevent the creation of human links. However, for the students of the Orleans conurbation, I can with great pleasure welcome you to my home. All my lessons are prepared with great care and are truly individualized. On each theme, the lessons are therefore adapted to the level and objectives of the student. Depending on the wishes of the students as well as their strengths and weaknesses, I propose to address the following aspects: - The openings : I make sure that my students have acquired the essential principles of openness (rapid development, takeover of the center, securing the king). Then, after studying the student's play style (rather positional or more attacking), we build, adapt or deepen his repertoire of openings. The idea is as much to understand the spirit of an opening as to know long variants by heart. After learning the theoretical basics, we will see the games played by the best players practicing your favorite openings of my student. - Party backgrounds: It is mainly about building plans. A chess player should think of himself as the general of an army. And no general shows up on the battlefield without a well-established plan, under penalty of stinging defeat! For this, we can also look at the different schemas and attacks of the opponent's weaknesses (weaknesses of the king or weakness of the pawn structure). Beyond the tactical sacrifices immediately winning the game, we may also be led to see when to sacrifice equipment to develop a sustainable initiative. We will also sometimes have to study some recurring pawn structures in the openings made by my students and how to maneuver based on that. - The finals It is sometimes a bit tedious but it is an essential factor of progression. The Russians, who dominated chess for decades, used to start by studying the finals. It is rather what I recommend. This is all the more essential since very often at the end of the game, time is short and fatigue begins to be felt. Knowledge of the most classic final patterns therefore allows you to earn many half points. - Analysis of your games Learning from mistakes is a great way to progress. We will therefore engage in this exercise whenever necessary. - Training plan Often when you want to progress you don't know where to start. I therefore propose an hour or two of lessons devoted to how to maximize the time spent studying chess. - Psychological aspects of the game How to rebound after a defeat? How not to ignite too much after a series of victories? How to manage the pressure of competition? How to manage your time in the different cadences? How to prepare against an adversary that we know and that scares us? Here are some of the questions that this module will answer (non-exhaustive list). Do not hesitate to contact me, I am at your disposal for more information!
