My name is Marcel, I am a student at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (KCB), and I teach trumpet, cornet or bugle (in French, Dutch, English or Spanish) for all levels and all ages. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced, I adapt to the level, affinities and objectives of each one by relying on my own experience: a mix of solid classical and academic knowledge, but also an openness to other musical genres, especially jazz. I have been playing the trumpet for more than 10 years now, and despite my young age, I have already been able to benefit from many experiences (as much in orchestra, in the work of classical programs, as in jazz or contemporary bands) which me. allow you to offer a personal and fun approach. My goal is to make you take pleasure in the work of your instrument, while establishing the strong bases of the trumpet, and to share with you my passion for the trumpet and the music!

In class we will cover the basics of the technique: - Breathing - Sound production - All the various types of staccatos - Dynamic - Extension - Intonation - Rhythm Consulting the most famous trumpet methods: - Arban - Clarke - Colin - Cichowicz - Bai Lin others... My learning method revolves around two axes: TRUMPET LESSONS For students of all levels, from beginner to advanced, with or without knowledge of music theory, who wish to learn or improve, I offer trumpet lessons where the following aspects will be covered: - Basic notions (fingering, breath, use of the tongue) - Master and perfect your sound - Flexibility exercises (passing easily from low to high sounds) IMPROVISATION My conviction is that improvisation is within everyone's reach, you just need to integrate certain tools that I will be happy to send you! - Become familiar with and master all the ranges - Analyze the chord chart (harmony) of a piece in order to feel comfortable accompanying it on the trumpet - Improvise on different sound accompaniments, thanks to many different and modular musical recordings to learn "playing together" And to go further: I can help you choose and get started with the software I use to record music, and change the key or tempo of the recordings.

I’ll teach you how to approach practice on trumpet or other instruments, based on my 15 years old experience. It’s crucial for me to find approach to every student, and to share knowledge I collected from deferent teachers, musicians and life.

The trombone, trumpet or piano seem hard instruments to learn, but with the right approach it's a fun and enjoyable process filled with small tasks that will make you improve and have fun at the same time. The same goes with music theory and composition; the classes are structured in a way that you wont feel overwhelmed with too much information because the goals and method will be set based on your level and needs. I am Fábio, a Portuguese trumpet player. I obtained my bachelor's in Aveiro University (Portugal). I am currently doing my Master's degree at the Koninklijke Conservatorium in Brussels. I had the opportunity to work at many music schools, teaching all levels. I am very passionate about this work.

He resumed his studies with Roger Bobo at the prestigious Weimar International Master class series 2013 and was invited to play Ralph Vaughn Williams Tuba concerto with the Jaener Philharmonie in the Neue WeimarHalle Will was accepted in 2015 and 2016 as a member of the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester. Will is a Buffet Group Artist and exclusively plays on B&S and Melton/Meinl Weston Tubas.
