Cours de violoncelle pour tous! / Cello lessons for everyone! / ¡Clases de Cello para todos! / Cellolessen voor iedereen!Hello to everyone!
My name is María, I am a Venezuelan Cellist.
All my musical education was inside the musical program "El Sistema" in Venezuela. This education was based on preparing myself as a better human being though playing cello in orchestras, chamber music and as soloist.
I am current studying my Master degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel with Jeroen Reuling.
In what consist my lessons?
Cello classes for all levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced), it does not matter if you have never played cello before or if you are already studying, the important thing is to help you achieve the goals you want with this beautiful instrument.
To have better results with practice, if it is necessary to help you with music theory, I will help you.
As well, if you're looking for help in orchestral excerpts for auditions, I'm here for you!
For kids, parental support is also important during some lesson, we are all a team and we need to work together to achieve the goals!
Classes can be in person at your house or mine (just in Brussels, Belgium) or via videocall (Skype, Zoom, etc). The schedules are planned according to the time of the student and the teacher.
Looking forward to meeting you and work together!
Maria.

Guitar lessons (acoustic & electric) for all agesThe guitar lesson will allow you to have an initiation for a person who has no notion about it or who is not necessarily foreign to certain concepts related around the instrument.
The work will be carried out in stages, taking into account the level of the student, the objective pursued as well as the time dedicated, all this in a structured, fun way and above all taking pleasure.
It will be a question of basic elements such as the work of major/minor open chords, scales, the development of the musical ear and gradually going into the depth of certain styles such as blues, funk, jazz, bossa nova, samba, pop. , rock to dissect other elements enriching the game on the guitar.
This progressive work put in place will consolidate the foundations for developing learning over time.

Electric guitar lessons, acoustic or music theory.Passionate, Curious, Open, Professional and Smiling, I am from Mexico.
My music career has taken me to several cultural capitals, including London, New York, Brussels and Paris. During my professional life I had the opportunity to perform with recognized jazz musicians such as Brian Lynch or EJ Strickland. I also composed for the National Orchestra of Mexico.
My mother being a university teacher, I grew up in an environment where education is valuable. Thus, music and foreign languages are two passions I like to associate: I teach guitar in French, English or Spanish.
In my ideals as a teacher, the technical and theoretical aspects of music education should never be a barrier to taste for the associated musical activity and cultural aspect.
Seeing the surprise of my students when they discover their potential and their progress is the greatest of my satisfactions as a teacher.
My students describe me as patient, efficient, kind and reliable.

- As our teacher is also a singing teacher, it is possible to combine the two disciplines: guitar + vocal instrument, and to work on synchronization, style and accuracy.
- Possibility of offering this course (birthday, party, Christmas, event ...) to the person of your choice.
THE TEACHER :
Trained in Grande Ecole post-preparatory classes & Ivy League university in the United States, our teacher has specialized and has worked for more than 15 years, in Europe and North America, in the field, in renowned international public and private establishments, with careful pedagogy and methodology as the watchwords.
PLACES :
- Locations: Geneva-Lausanne-Friborg-Neuchâtel-Montreux-Bâle-Sion-Sierre-Morges-Bienne. But currently, only by videoconference in accordance with national recommendations on Covid. These sessions also seem to be perfectly unanimous since they have the advantages of direct (example: quality of the interaction), without its disadvantages (ex: loss of travel time), with additional advantages (ex: of notes on the chat, which can be reread afterwards). In this context, these videoconference sessions for which you have requested me, seem to arouse a certain enthusiasm (and a certain enthusiasm). At your request, I therefore continue to offer them.

Piano lessons, composition, and MAO, home-based individualsHello, I am a pianist and composer. I offer private lessons piano and composition and MAO at home.
I have 7 years of experience giving piano lessons, and I have proposed some strategies for different types of students.
Are you a beginner? Are you afraid to enter the piano world?
I offer you "flexible" songs for you, with simple harmony, maybe pop or classic. In this type, I would tell you how you can know and play as you want, it means, as you are a composer of this piece. Either you're a child or you're an adult, it's a chance to find out how you'll be in music. If the composer has chosen 1-6-2-5 progressions rather than 1-4-5-1, what does he mean and how are you going to interpret it?
Have you played some time yet but still want to go further? Either the conservatory does not satisfy you enough, or does your teacher only tell you abstracts? When I was in the conservatory, very often, I heard that teachers say '' it's not music '' '' we have to sing '' but without clear explanations, without '' why ''. I have always thought, if you meet a doctor and ask him how you should do, he tells you that '' you must feel it '' '' you will find it '', will you stay with this doctor looking for another?
For this guy, I like to introduce you to the possibilities of your pieces that you have played by time or why composers score like that. I always recommend, give composers a chance. I will explain why composers write them, with harmony (for example, chopin as master), equivalence between melody and harmony (Bach is genius in the case), use of bass (Beethoven), interpretation of epochs, yes, every era has its usual, for example, swing of jazz, the way to crescendo immediately shows at the end during classic, but gradually during post-romantic, it can reopen your eyes to Rachmaninoff, Beethoven and Bach.
Do you have a lot of experiences but you want to go further or produce your soundtracks?
In this case, as I am also conductor, composer and I also do digital music. I can also show you some techniques that maybe you need in 2019. With DAW as Logic Pro X, either your tracks, Beethoven or Mozart Chopin Liszt ... or jazz.
Language: French, English and Chinese
If you are interested, it is with pleasure to give you lessons at home.
I thank you for your reading.

Violin and chamber music classes for beginner/intermediateDuring my training, I had the opportunity to study with famous teachers with whom I was able to discover different violin techniques and different pedagogical approaches, which allowed me to create my own methodology. If Italy gave me the passion of sharing and communication (a typical Italian characteristic), Belgium taught me to convey a message, an idea in a concrete way. My meeting with Mr Lawson also made me aware of the importance in the life of an artist to share his knowledge, and teaching is for me the best way to put this sharing into practice.
