After having studied at the A. Hello, I am a violin teacher and violinist. Having taught the violin for 20 years and knowing in depth different instrumental techniques and different teaching methods, I can adapt my teaching to the needs, age and character of each student. In addition, my educational background combined with the unique experience and knowledge given to me by my relatively recent motherhood and my love for children and other human beings, has led me to pursue positive teaching with empathy towards the student who aims to make him happy, to love music and to acquire a solid basis for his overall development! I am a professional clarinetist graduated with distinction at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels (Master Degree in Clarinet) and holding a Bachelor Diploma from the Music Conservatory of Valencia (Spain). Currently I am studying for a Master's Degree in Bass Clarinet, so we can combine both instruments in my lessons. I teach students of all ages and levels. In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination. The lessons are adapted to each student's needs and wishes. On top of playing, I can also offer lessons on harmony, form analysis and counterpoint that focus on understanding the structure of music. I am Thijs (28), an experienced drummer and musician, with a wide range of musical interests. Studying jazz drums under the wings of Lander Gyselinck at the KASK/Conservatorium in Ghent. I also took master classes and lessons from/with Joey Baron (US), Kendrick Scott (US), Corey Fonville (US) and Stéphane Galland (BE). I am also active in various bands/groups. My lessons, depending on the level, focus on both the fundamental building blocks of drumming and music as a whole.
