    About Me

In the social media era we are living in, young people often loose contact with the cultural environment. As young passionate, my goal is to transmit the passion towards arts, history and music, and especially to make the most profound aspects of Italian culture known to the world. This multicultural approach is what I've learnt during my philosophy studies, which allowed me to understand the world where we live from different points of view, particularly regarding thinking and art sphere.
I can guarantee professionalism, politeness and I'm looking forward to exchange elements of our cultures.

    Education

I have achieved a Philosophy bachelor at "Università degli studi di Torino", in Turin (Italy). I am now doing a Master at Music Business at SAE Institute of Berlin.

    Experience / Qualifications

I had a year study experience in Virginia (USA) where I deeply learnt English language. Currently I am working in a record store where I learnt many aspects of the record market. My bachelor in Philosophy can prove my quality on Italian language and cultural aspects.
Italian language can be hard to understand without the knowledge of our rich and beautiful culture. As a philosophy graduated I dedicated myself on studying Italian culture with a multifaceted approach, that is, through its manifestations in the world of art, literature, cinema and music. With my class I can guarantee that you will not just learn Italian language, but also many aspects of our culture, with some cooking tips as well. I am looking forward to share my Italian "zeitgeist" with you!

Guitar tutoring in Berlin for all ages and abilities.
I am an experienced and enthusiastic guitar tutor from Leeds, England, living in Berlin. I have a bachelor’s degree in jazz guitar from Leeds College of Music although I also play and teach rock, pop, funk, folk, and indie music. In lessons, I aim to get students to play something they know as soon as possible in order to get excited about progress early on. We balance this with paying attention to proper technique and having one eye on the theory behind what we are playing to broaden your understanding of how music works. I am actively engaged in playing within the music scene and have a real excitement for all types of music, whether it’s learning your first chords on guitar or working on improvisation or music theory. We'll go at the right pace for you and achieve your goals together. I have experience teaching all ages and abilities of students, having taught in primary and secondary schools as well as private tuition for adults. From complete beginners to preparing a student for their college auditions. Lessons are tailored to suit the needs of the student, in order to have lessons that push you to learn to the best of your ability whilst still being fun and musical.

Piano lessons through English from enthusiastic teacher
I teach piano and keyboard skills with a friendly and encouraging approach. My students learn technical exercises and pieces/songs carefully chosen to suit each individual and I also incorporate relevant music theory. I teach on an upright acoustic piano at my place in Wedding and in some cases travel to the student for lessons.

How to become a guitar master! Stop being an eternal beginner!
I know what it means to feel like an eternal beginner. You learn new songs but you struggle each time there’s a new chord or a different strumming pattern. You would like to improve faster and you are not really sure if you are learning right. Although you are playing, you don’t get the results that you want. This was the exact same thing that happened to me many years ago. I was playing but I didn’t really have a clear understanding of what I was doing. It took me a while to understand that I had to invest in a high-quality teacher, not only someone who could play but also someone who had a background in teaching. My guitar lessons are designed so that you acquire a solid music foundation from the beginning! I see too many new musicians simply copying from YouTube tutorials! I am afraid- that's not enough! Whether you are a beginner or advanced player, you deserve to progress in your musical journey at the right place and in the right way. Get in touch if you want to: · Acquire a solid music foundation; · Learn how to play iconic rock/alt-rock/blues/pop songs; · Learn new groovy strumming patterns; · Learn how to improvise; · Experiment with new techniques; · Understand and apply music theory concepts.

Saxophone Lessons with professional musician // all levels and styles
I am here for anybody wanting to learn or improve on the Saxophone or, but also offering introductory classes for beginners on the piano, flute or clarinet. In one-to-one lessons I would like to show students different doors in music to jazz and popular music and convey excitement and joy in this complex and magical science. My emphasis is on sound, phrasing, music theory, rhythm and ear training and improvisation. The lessons are atmospherically relaxed and should stimulate personal interest. Above all, it is very dependent on the student, as I try to adapt to you individually in this regard, because music is a very subjective thing. Beginners as well as advanced learners of all ages are welcome!

As your piano tutor, I want to teach you how I learnt piano, and show you how to be creative with music, at the very least for enjoyment, but also for any professional aspirations into composition. I start by familiarising my students with the fundamentals of music at the piano, how the piano is structured, arpeggios, baselines, chord sequences, melody sequences, etc. We take these fundamentals and build sophistication of musicality with a dynamic curriculum. Lessons are structured by familiarising with musical concepts by a demonstration, playing together, and playing solo in a way that aims to be accessible and sensitive to the student’s sensibilities.

Guitar and Improvisation - 18 years of musical experience
Hi there! I'm a professional, award-winning guitarist with over 18 years of experience playing Jazz, Blues, Funk, Pop, and Finger-style. I have worked internationally as a bandleader, accompanist, and solo performer. My approach to teaching is very pragmatic, time-efficient, and fun and I prefer not to overwhelm students with too much information or technical exercises. I believe that the number one priority both in playing and teaching music should be enjoyment, and that's why I tailor each lesson to the uniqueness of each student, making sure that we are learning about things that YOU want to learn about and moving towards YOUR unique goals. I look forward to hearing from you and learning together! My teaching is also informed by years of research into areas such as neuroscience, psychology, philosophy, and meditation. This background has allowed me to develop a truly holistic approach to music, one which promises not only faster improvement, but also greater musical EASE, ENJOYMENT, and CREATIVITY. Philip :)

Guitar lessons for beginners to advanced
In my 45-year career as a musician (guitarist, singer, and composer) I have always seen how music enriches our lives. In this sense, I am motivated to positively influence people around me through music and to get them to actively participate. Of course, I am interested in introducing children and young people to music. It is very exciting for me to witness how you have your first contact with tones and instruments. Recorder! Flûte à Bec! Blokflöte! For instrument and music theory pupils.
Like with languages, intuition plays a huge part in learning an instrument. Most often in music, the correct choice will the the one that ~feels~ the most natural. This is what my teachers, from when I was a kid, all the way to the end of my studies at the conservatory, have prioritized in lessons; Working less hard to sound better. I’m here to help you in the same way, to decipher with you certain sounds, certain gestures in recorder playing, so that we can map out together your skill set, and eventually find your own style of play. When it comes to the grammar part of music, I’m ready to teach you everything about reading notes, intervals, chords, and all the principles of music theory, with examples and fun exercises. I am a very patient person, and have experience with beginners as well as “matured” amateurs :) I hold a masters in early music, along with a bachelors in classical composition. My dream is to live from composition mainly, writing music for concerts, film and ballet. Currently I’m working on a ballet commission from the Schauspielhaus in Zurich, and more original music for a series of concerts next summer in France. My favorite composers are Bartok... and a bunch of anonymous medieval ones. How about you?
