Hello! My name is Kenny and I am a jazz/contemporary guitarist in Berlin, Germany. I offer lessons in a wide range of musical styles ranging from beginners to advanced students. My goal is to help every student discover their musical voice and have fun! I've been playing guitar for over 15 years and studied Jazz Guitar Performance at Berklee College of Music in Boston. I've been an active performer most of my life and currently perform with my wife in the duo "Sara and Kenny." In our lessons, we'll cover everything from chords, scales, stylistic elements, technique, learning songs, and developing the ability to become and self-sufficient musician. For some people there is only one way to tackle the unmentionable but I believe there are many different approaches and one of them will click with you. It is simply finding out what is best for each person. Once we find the key we can unlock the problems that have puzzled you for ages. Music theory needs to be more than a requirement, it needs to be the way to really appreciate the music you are playing. Certain aspects can also lead to additional practical skills such as improvisation which can be very useful as well as very enjoyable.
