PatrickPiano Lessons in Berlin, Mitte with a Professional Musician
I'm currently studying with Dr. Yossi Reshef, and teaching a technique based on a free wrist, loose arms, weight play, motion control, and deliberate practice methods.
Maybe you have hurts or technical issues while playing? that is a clear indicator for a wrong technique. It is actually possible to detect all kind of hurts and lead them back to techniqual mistakes. I know how to analyze your hand, arm and wrist motions and solve problems for you, also difficult passages can feel much easier suddenly.
I'm a classical pianist, specializing in a repertoire of classical composers, such as Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Beethoven, Schubert, and Mozart, but I'm open to all Genres of piano music, whichever you would like to learn.
Depending on your goals, we create a schedule for you to reach it. It is not essential for me on which level you are right now, you can either play for the first time or further advance your piano techniques.
Beside piano technique, I can also teach you how to accompaign yourself or someone else singing, and how to easily arrange a song for piano.
We can practice at my studio in Mitte close to U Französische Strasse with a Steinway&Sons Grand piano, or in my studio close to U Kleistpark, where I can teach also early morning or late evening.
NoahQuerflötenunterricht und Holzbläserimprovisationen Flute Lessons and Woodwind improvisation
Hello! I am a Canadian from the West Coast and I have recently made Berlin my home. I am excited to offer flute lessons here, because I have a lot I can teach. I have taught for a few years in Toronto, Canada where I hold a degree in music.
To begin with, all my lessons are grounded in body and mind awareness. I strive to impart to my students an ability to stay centred. My knowledge comes both from my teachers in the past, my experience teaching, my experience playing, practising, and performing, on the flute and other instruments and the study of Alexander technique, Tai Chi, and yoga. The insights I share are always unique to each student, as each student will have particular strengths and weaknesses with sound production and technique. At the base of all my lessons is what’s most fundamental— developing a rich expressive tone through the control of the respiratory apparatus.
What I do differently from other teachers is incorporating both the “classical side” and the “jazz side” in my lessons. Through the “classical side“ we will approach expression, clarity of tone, phrasing, and breathing through the interpretation of music. Through the “jazz side” we will work on developing a basic working practical theory with improvisational exercises, which you will be able to apply both to improvising your own music and interpreting other’s music. My desire is that my students don’t become “caged” into the notes on the page, but are able to freely and fully express themselves on their own. Ultimately, the two sides meet in the ideal of all my teaching—to help bring out my student’s voice. This is the art which the great performers of the world have mastered— communicating with their own voice. With this, it won’t matter whether you’re playing your music or someone else’s— it will sound like “your own”.
If you or your child are completely new to the flute, or you have played for many years and have gotten stuck with what to do next, or if you play an entirely different woodwind instrument and want to learn about improvising, , please contact me I have no doubt I will have a lot I can help you with. 🙂
I spent many years in the notes-on-the-page-cage, and I broke free, so I can help you do the same.

CurraghGuitar Lessons - all ages and ability levels welcome!
Hi everyone! My name is Curragh and I am a guitar teacher from the UK.
Learning an instrument is hugely rewarding and a great investment, one that I believe is accessible to anyone. Perhaps you're intrigued by the guitar and want to give it a go... maybe you are a parent looking to relax for an hour and have fun or enrich your child’s development and give them a skill they can enjoy for the rest of their lives.
A little about my background: I come from a musical family; I am a lifelong lover of music with a bachelor's degree in Jazz Guitar from Leeds Conservatoire and a BTEC diploma with distinction in Music Practice. I have played in many different ensembles and have attended the Bath International Guitar Festival in the UK, on a scholarship.
My teaching philosophy is that the ears are just as important to train as the hands and I integrate this into my lessons. It is also important to enjoy playing and feel excited by it however, as this is the best motivator for students! It's how I learned after all...
I am happy to teach absolute beginners through to advanced students, ages 7 and up. If you have a particular style of music you are interested in or some favourite songs you've always wanted to learn, we can cover them!
If you are a more advanced and want to bring your playing to the next level, I can coach you so you develop your unique 'voice' on the instrument and have technique to burn.
ElenaSinging lessons by teacher with Master / 20 years of experience
Singing lessons (lessons for children below):
Graduate of the Brussels Conservatory in jazz singing (Master), I sing professionally and am pedagogue for 20 years now. I offer private lessons and semi-singing in Watermael-Boitsfort (corner of the broom).
Classes are directed to the desires and demands of the student.
Here is what I propose ...
Voice technique: through vocalizations and other fun exercises, learn to use your body and your voice in an effective and healthy way.
Directory (or not): chosen by the student and the teacher. My preference goes to jazz and all its branches and roots (bossa, brazilian, blues, gospel, polyphony, ...) because it's for me the best training but I'm open and I sing myself (almost) every other styles ;-)
Improvisation: the best for the end :-) listening exercise, creativity, self-expression, voice and musicality. Through very progressive and clear exercises, we will explore (if the pupil desires) vocal improvisation.
Music lessons for children (from 1 year to + -6-7 years old):
Animation of 30 min or 45 min (depending on age) with the same structure that remains, the songs change.
Song or rhythmic activity to say hello
Gesture song (fine psychomotricity)
Songs with maracas eggs (keep a pulse, manipulate the eggs, work on coordination)
Presentation of a musical instrument
Song to be accompanied by children of different percussion instruments
Song to move or dance
Pre music theory or recognition exercise of noises or instruments (depends on age)

ViniciusBeginner, Intermediate and Advanced Guitar Lessons
Hello, my name is Vinicius, I am a Brazilian Biologist and I am a PhD candidate in Neuroscience at VU Amsterdam.
I have been playing guitar since I was 11 and I have been teaching the instrument for over a decade now.
I believe that motivating the student and helping him to integrate the instrument into his daily routine is the most important role that a teacher can do.
My methodology is the flipped-classroom and I use the Google Classroom platform: every week, I will write a study guide with details of what we discussed during class + references (videos/blogs/books). This can be used by the student to study carefully at their own pace. During our next class, we will discuss the points you had the most difficulty and advance your knowledge further.
I can also record videos and write essays from scratch specifically for you, whenever the material is not available online.
I learned to play the guitar on my own - later in life I had classical training at university (singing, piano and classical guitar). I play Fingerstyle guitar, popularized by artists like Andy McKee, Tommy Emmanuel and Antoine Dufour, which consists of playing melody, harmony and percussion at the same time.
I have published an EP named "14th of August" with original fingerstyle compositions in 2020.
