About Me

Private teacher for more than 8 years, I am offering my help in tutoring you to students needing help for an exam or adult starting studies again.

I am offering two types of classes:
-classes on regular basis, to keep up a level
-intense classes (over days or week) where we'd work several hours, so has to prepare a specific exam.

My goal is not to do your work, but teach you how to do it by practicing an explaining the theory with concrete example. A recurring problem is that mathematics is very abstract and too much about theory.

I want to insist that all professor cannot work with all students, meaning that if you'd like to stop classes after some times because I cannot suit your expectation (or any other reason), there'll be no problem at all and I won't ask justification.

So as to follow up in a more efficient way, I don't not take more than two students at the same time.

Since I have studied complex mathematics up to Master 2, I have never had a problem teaching a class I haven't had at university (given I can have some time to prepare before our class together).
Don't hesitate to contact me for further detail.

Education

I have a Master degree from an French engineering school in applied mathematics (Génie Mathématique at INSA)
Two years of preparatory class (Physics, mathematics and chemistry) I've integrated an engineering school so as to specialized in mathematical optimization (modeling, statistics, scientist calculus, company mathematics and accounting).

Experience / Qualifications

I am currently working in the private sector. However, and since I am 17 years old, I am teaching mathematics over my free time as I'd like to share my passion and knowledge about mathematics.
From the begining, I've had the occasion to work with people from all horizons:
-young student (10-18), to keep up or catch up a level
-higher education students: business school, preparatory classes (MPSI, France), but also medicine student, science PDH etc...
-Adults starting again studies after years of working: this requires a very specific and different methodology.

Han is an excellent, very professional teacher and a real master of his field. He first assesses the student’s knowledge, maps the strengths and weaknesses and carefully crafts every lessons to ensure good understanding of the subject. Highly recommended for everyone who is eager to learn but also ready to work for success.
Very good and knowledgeable teacher. works very smoothly and quickly
Han is competent, prepared and really flexible. I would definitely recommend him.
Han is very professional and friendly. He does a fantastic job at preparing lessons and support that is tailored perfectly to the student. He goes over and above to ensure that students receive quality support that is appropriate for their level and that provides a framework for their exam success. I would definitely recommend taking Han's classes!
I offer tutoring services for all levels and ages, including up to the Master's level. I provide various types of classes: - Regular classes to maintain and improve a certain level of proficiency. - Intensive classes spanning several days or weeks, designed to prepare for exams or complete projects. - Classes to assist with the transition to higher education (e.g., university). My primary goal is to guide students by offering theoretical lessons and practical exercises. I believe in emphasizing concrete examples, as mathematics can be perceived as too abstract and theory-focused for many. Additionally, I can assist Ph.D./Master's students who require data analysis for their theses. I offer support in various mathematical domains, including algebra, analysis, statistics, algorithms, logic, and more. Please feel free to contact me for further details.

Private coding / programming lessons with python
Python is one of the best, if not the best, language to start learning programming. It is also one of the most widely used languages today, especially in cutting-edge areas such as machine learning. This popularity means that Python is constantly evolving. It offers a wide range of tools and libraries, which are free and very varied. As an aeronautical engineer, I like to share my knowledge and derive satisfaction from it by teaching and motivating others. I'm used to working with people of different ages. I believe in the importance of segmenting learning, visualizing progress, setting concrete goals and practicing regularly. Beyond these general principles, there is no magic rule or method. Some approaches work with some students but not with others. Adaptation to individual needs is therefore the main objective of private lessons. So I will do my best to find what motivates and helps my student.

Salah Eddine
Math tutoring for high school students
As a teaching professional, I have always enjoyed sharing my knowledge. My goal is to provide quality education. I am aware that some topics may seem complex, but often this is simply the result of an inadequate explanation by the teacher. With me, you will discover a real interest in the material! We strive together to achieve academic excellence, overcoming the shortcomings and difficulties encountered by your child. Studies will become a pleasant experience for him. In addition to the courses, I can also help with school orientation, identifying their preferences and highlighting the advantages and benefits of a fulfilling educational ambition. The sessions generally take place according to the following stages: 1️⃣ The first sessions are devoted to the assessment of the student's level in order to detect existing gaps. 2️⃣ Next, we create a personalized plan to address these gaps, including the number of hours of work needed, specific areas to focus on, and appropriate training and development exercises. 3️⃣ We stay in constant contact with the student's class teacher, to keep up to date with the latest requirements and ensure a consistent approach. 4️⃣ Subsequently, I provide exams similar to those that are likely to be asked in class, to prepare the student effectively. 5️⃣ Upon request, I write a regular report, usually monthly, to keep parents informed of their child's progress throughout their course. I adapt my methodology according to the specific needs of each student, thus offering them a personalized and adapted work approach. In addition, I offer crash courses for students preparing for the start of the school year, allowing them to start the year well prepared, with a solid lead on the school curriculum. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me. I will be happy to help you.

Programming is FUN! [Python - Programming fundamentals - Game Programming - OOP - Javascript - Algorithms]
My lessons are ideally for complete beginners to programming within the age range of 8-16. Programming can be a very creative and fun skill to learn. I focus on providing a solid understanding of the core programming concepts so that we can apply what we learn creatively to make interesting programs. I have my own content that covers fundamental computing concepts in an accessible way and I'm am working on more. I would be happy to provide general tutoring for Python or Javascript to help with revision or exams. I think the best and easiest way to learn a skill is to ensure that you enjoy doing it. This way of thinking guides how I tutor. Together, lets learn to code.

Physics-Chemistry, Maths courses (French mission program)
It is important to me to teach my students while adopting an active teaching method. I put all my experience acquired as a head teacher and also that of my academic career to the service of their success. My seriousness, my listening and my kindness allow me to overcome difficulties and excel in: - Math, - Chemical Physics, My courses are aimed at students in the French system from 6th to 12th grade (Speciality: Mathematics, PC)

Leila (Shamira)
University Math and Statistics (Probability) subjects
First, as a Math Teacher, my main aim is to encourage students to analyze the problem carefully and find different solutions for one question. This method helps students to choose the easiest way of solution for her/him during the exam and finish it in time. I teach students both ways how to solve questions without a calculator with math tricks, and how to use a calculator more effectively. As you know in the exam there might be non-calculator and calculator papers. Moreover, this ability helps students not only to understand the math subject deeply but also will be very helpful during their adult life. Having teaching experience (Math and Statistics) in one of the top universities of the US (UW-Madison) helped me clearly to see the path of a student from the school bench to the university auditorium. Only by working in both school and university, you can understand what is better to learn for a student to be helpful in the future university years and how to show the connection between the math of SAT, GRE, GMAT, and the math of the university level.
