About Me

I am a qualified 23-year-old viola teacher who recently graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. With extensive experience teaching both adults and children, I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and inspiring my students to excel in their musical journey.

Throughout my education at the prestigious conservatory, I have developed a deep understanding of viola technique, musical theory, and interpretation. I believe in utilizing this knowledge to tailor my teaching approach to the individual needs and goals of each student.

Working with students of all ages and skill levels has been a rewarding experience for me. I take great pleasure in witnessing their progress and growth, whether guiding adult learners or introducing children to the wonders of the viola. I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment that fosters both technical mastery and creativity.

Education

I started my musical education in Spain at the age of 8. I finished at 17 with the best qualifications and I moved to Antwerp to complete my bacherlor degree in the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp

I have received comprehensive training in teaching music to both children and adults, equipping me with the skills necessary to deliver effective and engaging lessons. My educational background includes formal studies in music education, where I gained a deep understanding of pedagogical methods and approaches.

In addition to my formal training, I have also gained practical experience working with diverse groups of students. I have successfully taught music to children of various ages, employing age-appropriate teaching techniques and creative strategies to keep them engaged and motivate

He is very encouraging, supportive and quick to adjust to the needs of his students, while still being very attentive to proper technique, form, posture, musicality, etc. He is able to balance being friendly and being professional. Ismael is always punctual and regularly checks up on you during the week to send you reminders, sheet music, etc. I strongly recommend him as a viola teacher.
