I love to make my students speak since I strongly believe that practice is the key to learn a language and to improve your knowledge. I always structure my lessons according to subjects based on daily life situations (how to introduce yourself, how to make an appointment, shopping / grocery, going to the doctors, professional language, etc). We'll go through the grammar, vocab, and pronunciation. If you're intermediate, we'll also do some lessons about reading comprehensions. We'll put both the grammar and vocab in practice. This class is a communicative English class which is going to assist you in developing your speech and precision. Here we will explore, vocabulary with nuances in meanings, synonyms, idioms, proverbs, some phrasal verbs and prepositional phrases and all-around social English. The possibilities are endless for focusing on Public Speaking, Intonation and Voice Projection as well. For better results and further practice, your learning skills shall be stimulated by audio recordings, short readings and/or videos. If there are any specific topics you have in mind and wish to discuss, we can additionally explore and incorporate them into your lessons. If you already have sufficient grammar skills and need to go on to communication and to start speaking English, then this class is for you!

I am a Particle Physics Master Student at the University of Amsterdam. I have been giving private Math and French for more than 8 years.
