Maurycy has the ability to notice my strengths and weaknesses and give just the right advice to strenghne my technique while bolstering my confidence. I find a session with him consistently invaluable.
Great lesson, and his passion for music is infectious! Looking forward to learning a lot from him on my future lessons!
The lessons with Maurycy are great! He adapts to the student and makes sure to have a plan to teach what the student wants to learn.
I was very enthusiastic about improving my piano skills before my lessons, but what Maurycy managed within just a few lessons is to get me totally pumped, even more than I already was. He quickly understands what his student can do, gives honest feedback, gives great tips and simply inspire more. Thank you Maurycy!
Am really happy with my lessons. Maurycy is helping me structure my practices to breakdown my music to learn in a smarter way.

Natalia
Piano lessons , music theory and/or history of music
I have been a piano teacher for over 25 years. This is something I am very passionate about and truly enjoy. My goal is to combine the students' interests with a program that I as a teacher find nessesary to improve and develop technique and skills. Personally, I have also taught piano to my kids, so I understand how important it is that piano lessons are interesting and exciting. I studied at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory. For many years I had my own music theater studio. I have a Hoffmann grand piano and prefer giving lessons at my home. Although, I am flexible and can come to your house too.

Illia
Classical and pop piano lessons, music theory and solfège (Russian method of training perfect pitch)
I have been playing the piano since I was five. I graduated from a specialized music school in Kiev and now I am a student at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I teach both, classical and pop music. I have a very positive approach in teaching and will try to generate a motivating environment, as I understand that learning piano can be frustrating for some! My goal is to help you enjoy piano as well as seeing steady progress.

Recorder, flute and piano lessons, from medieval to contemporary music for all ages
“An exciting and versatile young recorder player, committed to pushing the boundaries of his instrument” (Erik Bosgraaf, 2021) Hello! I am a professional recorder and flute player with a passion for both early and contemporary music, offering lessons on the recorder, flute, piano and in music theory in the Amsterdam area and online. I graduated from a Masters in recorder at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam Cum Laude, with a scholarship from The Countess of Munster Musical Trust. Previously, I graduated from the Royal College of Music London with a First- Class Joint Honours Bachelor’s degree in Flute and Recorder. In 2021 I was a finalist for the Moeck/SRP recorder competition as part of the London Early Music Festival. I am an encouraging and dedicated teacher who believes that effective practice, rather than talent, is at the heart of any musical development. I share my expertise in how to practice well, varying your approach to make different connections rather than just repeating things - this also helps to keep practice interesting! I am also keen to help each student find their own voice and expression through music, tailoring lessons to each students needs and goals. I have specialist knowledge of medieval, renaissance and baroque music, and can help students to develop skills in historical performance and ornamentation/improvisation. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Piano or Music Theory Lessons from an experienced and knowledgeable teacher
Hello! I am pleased to be offering piano lessons to beginner and intermediate level students! Alongside the technicalities of playing the instrument, I have a broad knowledge of different genres of music. If you are interested in writing your own music that is wonderful! I will be delighted to give you all the skills you need. We can begin with any genre of music from the first lesson. Knowledge of how to read sheet music is not necessary for beginners. I trained in piano at the TUD Conservatory of Music in Dublin, and have had many performance opportunities there and in Amsterdam. I have also been taking regular piano lessons and at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam since I arrived here. I have taught piano in various different music schools and programmes in Ireland, but my main experience is from private teaching.

The Bass Guitar, Piano, Guitar or Music Theory Course
The Bass guitar lessons are given at all levels from beginners to advanced / professionals. You learn how to play the instrument, with the right attitude and the right technical and theoretical underpinning of everything you want to learn. A somewhat broader music theoretical knowledge can also be taught. Customization is provided to the student's wishes. The music theory lessons provide insight into how western music theory functions and how it is applied in practice. Exercises are also done to develop the hearing and music theoretical exercises are done on the basis of either piano, guitar or bass guitar. The aim is to understand what the theory behind music is and why it functions that way. The Guitar (or Piano) lessons are only given at beginners level. The basic skills of the instrument are taught and an insight is also given into simple music theoretical issues with which the student can benefit from these acquired insights until a much more advanced stage and make faster progress on his/her instrument.

Music lessons: Double bass, bass guitar. Jazz, classical and world-music. Learn how to study
Hey there! In my lessons, what you want is the most important. That's why we create together a plan of study with ideas, goals and subjects to reach out our dream to make music (that's also my dream) Nevertheless, I can give you an overview of the content: I divide the music theory in two: Technical and Musical. Technical Theory regarding all the concepts and information related to music, and Musical Theory regarding the ideas and concepts to help us understand and improve the performance of music. Besides that, we look to harmony in a functional, rhythmical and organic way. We learn and approach music from the first lesson, looking at it from different angles (understanding rhythm and essence of a song for example). All this plus a nice diet of assignments and exercises: D Furthermore, we put especial attention to enjoying music. That means playing but also listening music! For me, that's one of the best ways to learn :) And of course, we learn as well by making mistakes, so at the end it's all about fun and trying things out;) Remember: "True success isn't just getting what you want in life - it's liking what you get";) César

We can focus on specific technical/musical problems, or have a more general approach to playing and improvising. If you don´t have a clear idea of what you want to do, we can work out a plan together.

Private saxophone lessons, jazz and classical, for all levels.
Graduated from a Master's degree and a double Bachelor degree from the Conservatorium of Amsterdam, I can help you develop your technical skills on the saxophone, your harmonical and rhythmical knowledge, your understanding and improvisation skills, through a pedagogical method that follows the student's aspirations, starting from wherever the student is, and moving on from there step by step. I address my lessons to all levels, from complete beginners, to those who have never heard of music.

Patrícia
Singing lessons in different styles: Classical, Jazz, Pop!
My teaching method meets the student's needs. Above all, I try to make people keep their passion and taste for music and my main goal is to make music or art a pleasure and not a sacrifice. I motivate students, showing them the benefits of exploring their unique talents, but also not hiding the need for continuous work and with some obstacles, sometimes difficult, to overcome. I let the students bring their own musical choices and, over time, I also recommend material that I think may be useful for a faster, simpler, and more efficient evolution. As I said, I focus on the pleasure of singing but also on the technique that allows us to achieve the best results with less effort. I hope that my way of teaching will work with you, but we always have to adapt to the needs and personalities of each one. Come and try it!

Anne

Gosse
Piano lessons according to the principle: the best and fastest way to Rome!
Do you want to teach (electric) piano, keyboard or synthesizer? Then you have come to the right place! Gosse (1989) has been giving piano lessons for more than 10 years and we are proud to announce that almost all students who start the lessons actually continue. The lessons are primarily focused on fun and development. He knows from experience that the most important ingredients for learning to play the piano as effectively as possible are: 1: The pleasure of playing The fun is increased by learning to play numbers that the student experiences as beautiful or fun and that bring the right degree of challenge. Gosse mainly specializes in Pop, Soul, R&B, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Funk, Bossa-nova, Latin and Light classical styles. Learn to play your favorite songs! 2: Learning in the way that best suits the student There are three different ways in which someone can learn to play the piano: sheet music, by ear and (the relatively new way) through software programs such as Synthesia. The correct method differs from person to person. 3: Knowing the music theory / shortcuts The three ways you can learn to play the piano described above help you press the right keys at the right time. But it can be easier. Namely by knowing the underlying music theory and / or the shortcuts! Gosse also teaches music production (songwriting and producing). He is most specialized in the Logic Pro and Ableton studio programs. He also helps vocalists who want to accompany themselves on the piano. Feel free to contact us for a trial lesson, for a more detailed version of the above 3 points or if you want to know more!
