Hello, I have extensive experience with students of all ages as a teacher of music theory, violin and viola. Custom classes, focused on student interests. I studied violin degree at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Vigo in Spain and viola in Spain and at the Utrechts Conservatorium. The research of my final exam was about well-being and phisical education to improve and accelerate the learning process. I want my students to be aware of the importance of good posture and technique in order to enjoy the learning process without problems.

The basic course takes you through all the elements you need to professionally write and produce music; with specialties ranging from record production to writing for media i.e. T.V and film. Learn all the pitfalls and save yourself years of pain! :) Skills I take you through are: 1. Music finishing; e.g. lyrics, arrangements, programming drums and synth parts. 2. Performance and recording techniques - setting up microphones, and hands on exploring the different types and 'colours' they record. How to record real synths and find the correct sounds for your music. Re-amping guitars and anything else to give your music more life! 3. Mixing; Using Pro Tools HD, Logic and Ableton, an SSL mixer with lots of classic 'outboard' equipment as well as the latest plugins on board the computer. 4. Mastering; The final stage of releasing music is making it sounds amazing on all systems. A course is tailor-made to suit the desire of the student - from recording and releasing your own music, to film audio post-production and sound design and everything else in-between. I have more than 30 years in the music industry, previously working at BBC Radio 1/1xtra station, and also at Jools Holland's Helicon Mountain studios in West London. I am eager to share what I have learnt over the years in a really friendly environment - it's perfect to take home all the knowledge you need to write from anywhere in the coming years.

As a musician, you'll need to be able to know music theory and acquire technique. Through years of teaching I've developed a method of learning music in a practical and structured way, keeping the joy of making music as a main focus, as well as providing with all the necessary theoretical background. I teach music to all ages: my students currently are from 5 to 81 years old. And all levels: I have an individual approach for every student. I am a professional viola/violin player with a masters degree.Currently I am performing with orchestras overall Netherlands and teaching at the same time. My goal is to keep my students enthusiastic, challenged and inspired but in an easy-going way. During our lessons we will learn songs and raise it in a good level with fun exercises.We can always add up some challenges for coming lesson and add some duo in our repertory to play together. Besides being a professional viola player, I am also studying teaching and music education, in order to become a better teacher and adequate my approach according to the individual needs of each student. I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons to students of all levels. Having 12 years of teaching experience, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the course of learning piano. If the student is interested in a more serious approach, I can also guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) exams. I am currently pursuing my third degree (Postgraduate Concertsoloist) at the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp, and have obtained my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Piano Performance/Music from University of Minnesota and TCU-Fort Worth, TX, USA. My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as soloist with orchestra (also as harpist), and receiving top prizes in several competitions.

This is a class where you are going to learn how to work with your own composition ideas as well get acquaintance to new composition tools and approach. I want to share my knowledge about how to write a song with motivated people who want to go further than just replaying others' songs. No matter what genre you like, by taking my course you will learn how to manage the different stages of music production.
