Composition lessons are for anyone who wishes to compose music, for any instrument, emsemble and/or electronics music.

My teaching method combines various approaches and styles, supporting practice with theoretical knowledge, and most important developing creativity and helping the student in making their imagionary visions come real.

I teach the basis of western-music composition - theory, harmony, counterpoint, score-reading, solfege, rhythm, analysis and more.
Further I suggest broad overview of world, jazz, pop, new/contemporary music, various styles in electronic music (popular and experimental), improvisatory compositions, graphic notation, text and game pieces, music for theater, film and dance and interdicsiplinary works which combine music with other art fields.

It a really kind and patient teacher!
Great teacher for adults learning how to play!
Our first lesson was an exploration of the feeling of holding the viola and the bow and of playing some notes pizzicato and with the bow. Maya was enthusiastic, patient and flexible in adapting to what I could and wanted to try. Her calm approach (letting learning sink in, allowing a process of getting used to the playing and learning) made me feel very comfortable and inspired!
Maya was very motivating and explanatory, with a pleasant and patient attitude. I'm looking forward to our next class!
I really enjoyed my first lesson with Maya. The lesson was very relaxed, but at the same time she gave great guidance as to where I could begin to improve my technique.
Violin & Viola lessons are for anyone who wishes to start playing, continue or rusume studying, for both children and adults. I combine various practices which I believe create a greater whole. I teach basic to advance techniques in reprtoire which corresponds with the student's personality and ranges from classical to contemporary, improvisation, world, folk, pop, rock and more. I combine repertoire with improvisation, composition, movement and other an interdicsiplinary manner. My method is personal and about listening to the student wishes and ideas. If you're intrigued, I'd be happy to play, teach and exchange ideas with you! Cello Lessons and Music Theory Lessons in English & Polish // from Beginners to Advanced // Zeeheldenkwartier
If you are looking for a fun and productive music lesson in a friendly environment, this is your place. I would be happy to guide your development from any level. I treat every student as an individual, and I adapt my approach accordingly - whether playing cello is your hobby or whether you have more serious plans with it. Together we can go not only for the classical music, but also pop, rock or film music. What you might also enjoy during the lesson is playing together in a duo, or you as a soloist with my accompaniment on piano - so you can experience making music with another person, which is a super fun! There is many fantastic advantages to learning music, such as growth of your musical taste and artistic sensitivity, and as even science proves - enhancement of your brain capacity. Osian
Cello, singing and theory lessons from bilingual Welsh and English speaker
Hi my name is Osian and I’m a cellist from South Wales. I’ve taught children of many ages and standards and I really feel privileged to be a part of someone’s musical and personal development. Music lessons can be a way of reaching the concert platform or it could be a way of expressing yourself and being creative, wether it’s a career path or not. I grew up playing and singing where my first priority was to fall in love with music and learn to perform it to the best standard that I could do and that’s what I’d like to encourage my students to aim for too. I’m a BMus Hons Scholar from The Royal Academy of Music and I’m not studying at a masters lever at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.

Xico Ribas
Play only what you like! - Piano lessons for all levels and all styles
Music is Play! and everyone is it's own game. Read, understand and make only the music you like. I think if it isn't fun, it can't be music:) I studied a classical piano bachelor, and later a jazz master and a live electronics master. In the meantime, I have been teaching music. It's longer than 9 years now! Most of my students learn piano. With the starter ones, I use my own system to equally help them grow all the needed skills: body consciousness (to avoid lesions or bad habits), music theory (including writing and reading) and improvisation. Usually most songs are made of melody, chords and rhythm. From there, I can help you understand how a song works, how is it written, how does it translate to the piano... and voilá! You'll know the song by heart, and will be able to play it a bit different every time, because you won't be following a set of pre-imposed instructions. You will understand how a small system (a song) works. This way of learning can be applied to any song, from any century or style. Understanding is key! Play Chopin, write rock songs, play Monk, Bill Evans, the Beatles, make a lo-fi beat, play Beethoven, play the Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and Star Wars, play video game music, play salsa! bachata and make people dance, laugh or cry. Music is very powerful! PD: I have also experience imparting electronic music lessons in Ableton Live and Max MSP, which is now a very important part of my professional practice. In case you are interested, it is also possible to mix the two worlds and create a any kind of path between piano, synths, beats and home studio techniques. Ask me anything, I'll tell you how I could help!
