Lydia
Piano Lessons for Beginner-Advanced Levels in Classical and Contemporary Styles
I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons to students of all levels. As a pianist 12 years of teaching experience and over 21 years of playing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the course of learning piano. If the student is interested in a more serious approach, I can also guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) exams. I also have successful experience preparing students for entrance to conservatory and for various competitions. Recently, my students have achieved highest marks in the ABRSM exams as well as prizes in competitions. We also have a class concert for interested students twice per year. I am happy working in both a relaxed and serious approach, we simply need to discuss the objectives of the student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music." Prior to this, I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Piano Performance/Music from University of Minnesota and TCU-Fort Worth, TX, USA. My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as soloist with orchestra (also as harpist), and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio and look forward to meeting new students.

LEARN TO LISTEN TO SEVERAL NOTES/VOICES AT ONCE WITH A HIGHLY TRAINED AND EXPERIENCED FRENCH CONSERVATORY PROFESSOR
All levels (from beginners to graduate students and professionals). All ages. When? Please drop me a line and we will try and find a time for you. Listening to several voices at once certainly is one of the most rewarding skills a musician can have, or can acquire. And, no, this is not only for those who are born with this gift. If you listen to music without being able to discriminate precisely the different layers of sound, you already know music is beautiful. I was like that a couple years ago. (Well, provided my gray hair, it must actually be many years ago). I can surely say that being able to listen to several voices at once has brought me much joy! Music became absolutely wonderful! When you can precisely hear the various voices, then you become aware of all the notes that are played, as if some nice new lights were shed on the music. Not only can you enjoy the music more, but as you play you can now shape all the voices in the best possible way, or if you play a duo for instance, you can be sensitive to the way the other musician plays, and musically respond to his or her interpretation. As a musician, that is a life-changing experience, a “must!” That can be learned, slowly but surely, with method. Now, when I say slowly but surely, I talk about mastery. But if we are talking about being able to listen for the first time to an additional note at once, this is usually quite quick (I'd say one lesson, two weeks at most). So, what can we work on? Harmonic intervals, recognizing chords, discriminating notes within a 4 voice chord or aggregate (i.e. hearing the precise voicing of an isolated chord), learning to listen to counterpoint precisely, you name it. That should be based on where you are at, and what you would like to achieve. Anything is possible. Let's talk about it and get started! Although perhaps you want to know this first: My students often tell me I am very patient. I'd rather say I am understanding and straightforward. Actually, please know that I am also demanding: While there is no difficulty that I cannot understand, (and I found it absolutely thrilling to find a solution when the student seems stuck) yet I am not interested in approximation. If after reading this, you are still interested, please drop me a line! I am here to share my passion with you! Sincerely, YOUR Prof. PS: I use fixed DO solfège (French way), but if you don't that's okay!

Vlad
Ableton Live/Sound Design/Composition and music Theory/Mixing
As flash education is the new trend on the web, I try to identify myself as someone that does not take pride in giving "tips&tricks" classes rather to build toghether a path towards nolt only the understanding of the musical concepts, but towards their discovery. Through the use of Ableton Live I will cover music theory and it's appplication to the digital and analog world, exploring electronic and acoustic music, providing by time to time free tools and subsequent explanaition on how to use them, to build not only an in depth knowledge, but an efficient workflow. Having thaught in universities, it is clear to me that the path to learn cannot be a series of discontinued classes. For that reason I spur you to send me a message and organise up to 60 minutes of consultation, so to craft the ideal path to you. Whether is understanding of music theory ( Which I will refer to during classes as black magic ), or understanding all the steps and knowledge that are needed to start and finish a track. The classes will be on zoom and at the end of it I will provide you the recording of each class so that you can keep track of whatever we did at all times. Including after we will be finished :)

Do you feel like playing the most beautiful instrument in the world? Then you are always welcome in my cello lessons! Cello is a voice of different sounds. It has soft and dark sounds, but also playful and cheerful melodies. Do you want to play beautiful emotional songs from well-known contemporary pop music or are you a fan of classical works such as Bach? Everything is possible! Hello, I'm Merel! I am a professional cellist and I obtained my Master Cello at LUCA School of Arts in Leuven. Cello is my great passion with which I bring music to life! I also went on Erasmus and studied in Graz in Austria with Tobias Stosiek. Because I am very eager to learn, I regularly take master classes with well-known cellists such as: Maria Kliegel, Johannes Krebs and Johannes Moser. With great enthusiasm I give private cello lessons to young people and adults. I teach you the complete cello learning package where I teach you to read and play notes. Do you have a specific goal in mind or do you really want to learn a specific work? Then we work together towards your goal. The most important thing is that you have fun and enjoy the music you make! You can determine the number of lessons yourself. Would you like a lesson every week or every two weeks, that can all be discussed. That's the advantage of private lessons!
