Dominic I am a 27-year-old percussionist from Ireland with 14 years experience in percussion. I studied Professional Music Performace at the Academy of Contemporary Music just outside of London, graduating with a BA (Hons) degree. After taking tutoring and master classes with legendary drummers, such as Chad Smith (Red Hot Chilli Peppers) and Frank Tontoh (Amy Winehouse), I am well practised in every style and genre catered to your preferences. I teach every aspect of Drumming from performance and reading drum scores, to business and breaking into the music industry.

Hello! I am Dohyun from South Korea. I am a second year jazz drum student at Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I have 3 years of experiences in teaching drums at music schools in Korea and Vietnam. I am open minded as a musician and as a person, I like to have a relaxed, joyful class, and I also value basic, fundamental stuffs, rhythm, and harmony. In this course you will learn techniques, patterns, phrasings and drum vocabulary to be able to play whatever interests you. This course is not limited to any specific level. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced, this course will focus on your personal interests as a musician. We will explore the instrument from a contemporary perspective based on tradition in order to not only survive in any musical context, but also exceed expectations. We will work together to develop all aspects of a good contemporary drummer: technique, control, coordination, independence, creativity and expression. As a teacher and student, I can assure you that the development of a musician is not only born from training and theory, but also from the enjoyment of playing the instrument, so in this course you will have 50% technical work and 50% development of skills. repertoire (songs you want to play).

I started playing drums when I was 7 and have never stopped. After high school I studied at the Rock Academy in Tilburg, where I developed further as a musician. I am regularly on stage myself. Mostly as a drummer, but also as a guitarist. I like to share my love for music with others. Through the lessons I give, I let the students experience how much fun it is to make music themselves. I have been doing this with great pleasure for more than 6 years. In addition, I have been teaching for 5 years and I regularly give music workshops.

We will cover everything from basics to being able to work out parts to your favourite songs. I am extremely patient and ready to help you excel. The most important thing is that you have fun doing it. Yes, there will be some challenges, but rest assured that nobody you see performing got there instantly. It all takes time, dedication and passion.

I have been playing drums for 12 years and have participated in many concerts, through several music groups. This experience allows me today to develop my own teaching method aimed at developing your practice of the drums through the pleasure of the instrument and improvisation. It is possible for me to receive you at home, in my musical studio equipped with an acoustic drum kit, an upright piano, guitars, percussion... or to come to your place, if you have a drum kit.

We will talk about your goals and together we will figure out what you exactly need to level up . I will design a practise schedule for you with suitable exercises that you personally enjoy and find it fun, cos hey, music is supposed to be a stress buster, but that being said you gotta work to get better at anything. We will also talk about how it is to be a professional musician in the current music scene, and what skills apart from drumming is needed to be a musician. With more than 20 years of experience in drums and more than 10 years in percussion, I teach many musical genres (jazz through Latin music, pop, hip hop, rock, hard, punk, metal ..) , the double pedal, notions of music theory, rhythmic reading. The programs are directly inspired by internationally recognized methods, thus being able to adapt to the needs, levels and requirements of each individual. Mauro, born in 1997 in Italy, approached the study of the drums at the age of 7 years attending the courses of Antonello Scarinci, then continuing with the master's Paolo Fidelibus and Fabrizio Fabiano in the "Accademia Ars Antiqua". In 2016 he undertook a course of studies with Maestro Tony Arco at “Civici Corsi di Jazz (Claudio Abbado)” in Milan, the renowned school founded by Franco Cerri, Enrico intra and Maurizio Franco. He attended the courses of Masters such as Lucio Terzano, Marco Vaggi, Mario Rusca, Mino Fabiano, Tony Arco. He also privately attends the Music course of Latin Jazz ensemble with the Peruvian bassist Rodolfo Guerra and participates in a number of masterclasses including Dave Liebman, Bob Moses, Roberto Tarenzi, Balla Nar Ndiaye Rose, Gerald Cannon, Dave Weckl, Dean Brown. The concert activity over the years has led him to perform in a variety of jazz exhibitions on and off the Milan scene, including Break-In Jazz, Open Sky Museum, Outsound Jazz Festival. Now is attending the Master's Degree at the Conservatorium Van Amsterdam under the guide of Lucas Van Merwijk and Martijn Vink.
