Trusted teacher: How to prepare for a media interview? What means should be used to fight his fear of the camera and improve his image? How to present yourself and your project in front of a camera? How to present yourself and your project to the media? Targeted content according to your project: Verbal and / or gestural communication; Seduction of the lens and / or microphone; Improvisation in front of a microphone and / or a camera; Voice & gaze; Games of one or two cameras; Chronic; Animation; Reportage; Direct radio & TV; Interview; Narration; Speech in all its forms (...) In short, several objectives: ◾ Confront your shyness in front of the microphone / camera. ◾ Understand his speech and his diction. ◾ Taming the media environment (radio / tv). ◾ Familiarize yourself with your image and voice. ◾ Manage your speaking time. Through exercises (diction, voice, presence, breathing, presentations, time management, etc.), role plays, interview simulations and familiarization with one's image and voice, the participants move at their own pace in a flexible educational framework. Note that during the videoconference session, all the notes are transcribed in the chat so that you can access them at any time when you wish. Indeed, speaking is a predominantly physical activity, which, while taking care of its image, is based on a body, a voice, a breath, a rhythm (diction) and an emotion (the imagination and the sensations ) reflecting the speaker's involvement in his speech. How to send a clear message? How to make the difference, to make an impression? Knowing how to speak, act and interact in public is almost a necessity today: your public speaking must be effective and efficient with clear, simple and powerful messages. Simple and pragmatic tools will be presented for: generating listening ● making an impression ● fostering confidence ● generating need ● motivating teams by explaining a strategy ● getting messages across within groups ● overcoming shyness by assimilating 3 CRV axes (body-breathing-voice) ● better manage disagreement or conflict. Mastered, the method allows: • improve self-confidence and stress management with the development of the speaker's fluency (verbal-bodily), his public speaking and his sense of repartee and improvisation. • to work on their ease, leadership, charisma, creativity and personal development through scenarios. * improve the characteristics of the spoken voice (timbre, pitches, intention, flow). * get your message across through your image, while gaining improvisation skills and responsiveness. Supplemented by basic exercises (diction, voice, presence, breathing, presentation, time management), role plays, improvisations and simulations. With the key word: pronunciation, diction / articulation, the sense of repartee. Statistically, the progression following these private sessions is quickly noticeable, from 2 sessions. ( study 2020). Trained in Grande Ecole post-preparatory classes & Ivy League university in the United States, specialized and has worked for more than 15 years, in Europe and North America, in the field of communication and public speaking, in renowned international public and private establishments, intervening in forums and conferences, and oriented on pedagogy and careful methodology. - Locations: Geneva - Lausanne - Friborg - Neuchâtel - Montreux - Basel - Sion - Sierre - Morges - Bienne. But currently and until further notice, only by videoconference in accordance with national recommendations on Covid. These sessions also seem to be perfectly unanimous since they have the advantages of live (example: quality of the interaction), without its disadvantages (example: loss of travel time), with additional advantages (example: of notes on the chat, which can be reread afterwards). In this context, these videoconference sessions for which you have requested me, seem to suit everyone perfectly, take place in a very optimal way and generate a certain enthusiasm (and a certain enthusiasm). That is why, at your request, I continue to offer this option. Take good care of yourself and yours! PROGRAM À la carte program: evaluated and adapted to each need.

Serious endeavouring to entertain through media studies, particularly filmmaking, and current affairs. After studying media and film, I worked at the BBC from 1989 to 1991 mainly as an assistant to chief documentary editor Jane Val Baker. The following years, I directed several short films on communal subjects such as poverty, classism, racism, homelessness, social division and poverty. Throughout this decade I worked on numerous pop video clips (as an art director and director), and also TV commercials, eventually directing a Lee cooper ad. Towards the end of the 199O’s I directed a documentary on the popular hip- hop group the Fugees, before moving to Paris, France where I directed ‘Actress’, a wry comedy produced by the renowned Parisian production company Mic-Mac In 2002 I wrote and directed my first feature film ‘Toothache’ aka ‘Rage De Dent’, a bitter satirical comedy following a group of bored middle class artists and their troubles in love during a weekend in Paris. Starring Julie Depardieu, Ludivine Sagnier ‘Toothache’ (rage de dent) was produced by Arte France Cinema and Mic Mac productions. My second feature length film ‘Nadine’ was shot in September 2006. The film follows a teenage self-harmer her fatal battle with mental health issues. Nadine premiered at the Odyssee Cinema in Strasbourg, France in July 2008 as part of the British cycle of films alongside Ken Loach’s ‘The wind that shakes the barley’ and Stephan Frear’s ‘The Queen’. It was also shown in competition at Ghent film festival and Cork film festival, Rome international Film festival and several other international festivals. Between 2011 and 2016, I was the co-author of several documentaries produced by France Televisions and the French-German TV channel ARTE. In 2019 I was the co-author on the feature docudrama ‘In our paradise’, produced by Idéale Audience and directed by Claudia Marschal. ‘In our paradise’ premiered at DOC/FEST Sheffield in June 2019, and was selected at the Sarajevo Film Festival in August 2019, at the YIDFF in October 2019 and at the Cork Film Festival in November 2019. 2020 saw the completion of my 3rd film as a feature film director with the existentialist thriller ‘Man in wood’ featuring a special guest appearance from the talented singer/actress Lauryn Hill. Whilst also during the same year I created ‘The Black Victory’, an independent production and promotion platform for film, music and cultural content. The teaser for ‘In the greenhouse’, a pysclogical thriller which I wrote and will direct This innovative digital platform has links to several other social network platforms and is currently developing an all female podcast that aims to tackle diverse subjects from voices that are powerful, engaging, yet rarely given the spotlight they merit.

Trusted teacher: Stories are as old as we are, but if you want to put a story on paper or portray a story, it turns out to be more difficult than talking to your friends. How about now? Not what you tell, but HOW you tell it is the most important. The basics and how to use psychology to write a story, this is what you will learn anyway. Those who want to continue afterwards will learn how to write a script. Fiction or facts, you decide what you want to learn.

Trusted teacher: I teach Premiere Pro and Avid Media Composer, from beginner to advanced. In the beginner and intermediate courses, all the important basics are covered and practiced using practical applications. The advanced courses go into finer details, such as advanced editing techniques or shed light on specific processes such as proxy workflows or colour management. Structure: The technical lessons are structured in 1 hour modules, using practical examples and allow time for experimentation and questions. I also teach editing theory and creative strategies across many different genres and styles. These are less structured and are tailored to specific needs. Open Sessions are also possible, where you may bring along a personal project in Premiere or Avid and I will offer you technical assistance, feedback or tips.

Trusted teacher: As a whole, the courses include a vast repertory which touches the drawing, painting, design and lexicon of colors (chromatic circle; monochrome; monochrome; tutorial of the visual arts language, etc), linocut, cyanotype, photography, basic photoshop course, performance tutoring, etc. Among others, basic research techniques to design supports for the chosen mediums such as how to stretch your own canvas on a false frame or even the design of homemade paper and more. A conceptual approach is very present, but mixes with the classic course, because you obviously have to start somewhere. These art courses / workshops are more anchored in the technique, but if there is a desire to deepen your knowledge in terms of art history, among others, to better understand the trends of art or artists who have influenced a technique for example there will always be opportunities on demand. For the more advanced, it will also be possible to do tutoring on how to proceed with a research method for the evolution of his art, place of dissemination, creation of a website for their portfolio and how to design it. * It will be possible, in the eventuality, to go outside during photography, drawing or other related courses. Depending on the development or the desire of the apprentice, we could go to a museum, gallery or other activity that will support the learning (provide an additional amount to cover the costs of the activity if necessary ).
