Trusted teacher: My name is Dr. Pradeepika, Gold medalist and with 6+ years of experience as an assistant professor, faculty development training and school teaching/helping experience to students of various age groups. These years of experience in school support have allowed me to develop a methodology adapted to the needs and profile of the student. I offer support to students, who are struggling to find a way of working that suits them. Extrovert, bubbly, and above all, a lot of humor! I believe that everyone learns in his own way. This is why I do not have a rigid method but adapt to the contrary to the specificities of each student. I evaluate their level, strengths, possible weaknesses, or delays, and I develop my course accordingly. My priority: to restore the student's confidence: things are within everyone's reach when they are well explained! Active teaching methods: I try to involve the student as much as possible, to make him discover what works for him/her so that he can continue his career independently. Finally, I bring specific help when preparing questions or exams in a more difficult subject. My rate includes full tuition (private lessons, the ability to ask questions outside of class time, writing and correcting questions, etc.). The students learn best when they are in a positive and happy environment. By using the methods, I can develop a classroom that is supportive with fun. It is important for students to feel happy and comfortable with me so that they can develop the confidence to speak up and put forward their ideas. I believe every student needs to be challenged regardless of their ability. The more confidence students have, the better their chance is of succeeding.😇 Looking forward to reading from you!.

Trusted teacher: As a teaching professional with over 17 years’ experience in primary and secondary schools, I aim for the development of independent learners by focusing on inquiry-based student-centred learning. There is a high degree of differentiation in my lessons and activities in order to best meet the educational needs of diverse learners. As a private tutor, I offer support at primary and secondary school level in ICT, Computing and maths. I design activities for the development of creative, analytical and critical thinking while always taking into account the individual learning needs of every student. My Maths support focuses in areas such as: PRIMARY SCHOOL: - WHOLE NUMBERS (operations, comparisons, factors, multiples) - FRACTIONS - MEASUREMENT (Length, mass and volume) - DECIMALS - DATA ANALYSIS (bar graphs, tables) - GEOMETRY (parallel and perpendicular lines, angles, square, parallelograms) - ALGEBRA (algebraic expressions with one variable) SECONDARY SCHOOL - ALGEBRA - Algebraic representation and formulae - translation of simple real-world situations into algebraic expressions - recognising and representing number patterns (including finding an algebraic expression for the nth term) - addition and subtraction of linear algebraic expressions - simplification of linear algebraic expressions, - factorisation of linear algebraic expressions of the form - FUNCTIONS AND GRAPHS - cartesian coordinates in two dimensions • graph of a set of ordered pairs • linear relationships between two variables (linear functions) • the gradient of a linear graph as the ratio of the vertical change to the horizontal change (positive and negative gradients) EQUATIONS AND INEQUALITIES • solving linear equations in one unknown (including fractional coefficients) • solving simple inequality • solving simple fractional equations that can be reduced to linear equations • formulating a linear equation in one unknown to solve problems - GEOMETRY (angles, triangles, circles and polygons) - TRIGONOMETRY - STATISTICS AND PROBABILITIES - 2-D VECTORS - COMPLEX NUMBERS - POLYNOMIALS - DIFFERENTIATION AND INTEGRATION Please do not hesitate to contact me for any further information.

Trusted teacher: Your child has difficulty with math, physics, chemistry or natural sciences. It cannot process the subject matter and you want to do something about it. As a teacher (engineer with certificate of pedagogical competence) I have been teaching mathematics, physics and chemistry and natural sciences in secondary education for 15 years. I am an independent teacher in secondary occupation and recognized by the Flemish Community. Because of my experience and empathy I can make the abstract terminology and exercises that your child does not understand anything understandable. I tutor students from primary and secondary education to higher education students. From multiplication tables to quadratic equations, logarithmic and exponential functions, limits, derivatives, integrals,… Everything is possible! Students preparing for the central examination committee, popularly known as the “middle jury”, often encounter problems in the subjects mathematics, chemistry or physics. Through intensive guidance I can greatly increase the chances of success. Students with dyscalculia are remedied by practicing the subject matter, using tips, mnemonics and a lot of patience. Experience shows that the way of mathematical thinking in dyscalculia is different and therefore requires a more structured, step-by-step approach. References are available. The tutoring is given on Saturday at my home in Melsbroek (Steenokkerzeel) and from Sunday to Friday online via Zoom. Zoom has a handy online board that we can write on at the same time. It is as if we are sitting next to each other and writing on the same sheet. If you want tutoring via Zoom, you must download the Zoom app and send me the email address that you link to it.

Reza - Delft$34
Trusted teacher: I have a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and currently I work as a post-doc researcher in aerospace Engineering faculty of TU Delft. I have ample experience in teaching all the courses related to Engineering such as mathematics (algebra, probability, calculus, differential equations, and advanced engineering mathematics), Mechanical engineering courses (Statics, Dynamics, Mechanics of materials, Mechanical design, control, vibration, Fluid mechanics, Thermodynamics, Heat transfer, Engineering drawing, etc), Physics (mechanics, electricity, light, waves, etc), CAD/CAM software (Autocad, Solidworks), and Mechanical design packages (ANSYS, ABAQUS, MATLAB, LS-DYNA). Not all the teachers are good at teaching Engineering and Mathematics courses and informing the students about the importance of what they are learning. That is why mathematical based engineering courses (such as Statics or Strength of Materials) are mostly boring for the students. The other problem that many students have with courses with strong mathematical background is that their mathematical basis is weak and therefore they cannot follow the course. I usually try to start my course from the basics and therefore actively engage as many students as possible in the class (even the weak ones). I also usually try to inform the students about the importance of what they are learning in the class by giving them some examples. This makes them more inspired and interested into what they are learning. If you have extra questions before starting a class, don't hesitate to ask me :)

Yogesh
Yogesh has been preparing me for the OMPT-A test for the last few weeks and has clearly explained all the chapters that we have gone through so far. He has prepared slides show for each tutoring lesson, that clearly explained the topic and included mathematical questions which would check my knowledge. He is always opened to feedback and any questions that I may have if I don't understand something. He has also given me additional questions to practice after the lessons to improve my knowledge. Now I feel more prepared and confident that I will pass the test. I would highly recommend him as a tutor.

Kollol
I fully recommend Kollol as a tutor. I had to prepare for the advanced Maths exam in 2 months and it was very challenging for me because I haven't done Maths for 3 years and also I haven't done it in English and also advanced. Kollol helped me with all subjects that I struggled with, explained to me everything very properly, was very patient and helpful, and was sending me additional exercises when I asked him to. Moreover, he was always available to help me outside the class which I appreciate a lot. He was a great teacher for me and I again I really recommend him as a tutor! :)

Alessandra
We had our first session a few days ago, with Alessandra tutoring my 8 year old son and 5 year old daughter, developing their reading and writing in English and their mathematics. Alessandra's previous experience as a teacher certainly shines through, as she definitely seems to know how children of this age learn. She provided original and exciting activities for the kids and they found it great fun; they are looking forward to seeing her again next week. Alessandra was professional to work with and I can definitely recommend her.
