This class helps you to access your own innate creativity through musical expression and composition with the instrument of your choosing. We will work using basic foundations of music theory and technique, applying these to your own style, interpreting songs, improvising and composing your own melodies. My own training and practice focuses on multi-instrumental and interdisciplinary improvisation, songwriting and creative play, and I like to bring these aspects into my lessons. I believe we all have the ability to create, and it is my goal to help you to access that from the very beginning of your musical journey. Classes can be adapted for your own individual goals, aspirations and abilities, and this course is intended for all levels from beginners to professionals.
