Hello language learners!! My Name is Tiesha and I am a native English speaker from the United States! I have many years of teaching and tutoring experience with both adults and children and experience in teaching english as a foreign language to non-native speakers! This december I will have a Bachelor Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (Teaching) K-8 from Western Governors University and I am certified in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). I have 14 months of tutoring english as a foreign language experience in France and detailed training in effectively delivering lesson plans and creating a friendly classroom environment. In my classes I like to create lessons that are specific to each student while focussing on getting more comfortable with spoken english and improving grammar and vocabulary that you will need in real life situations. I believe that the most important thing a teacher can do is create an environment where students can feel comfortable to explore new ideas and then allowing them to practice these ideas in a constructive setting.
