Bonjour! My name is Tanguy and I come from Montpellier, south of France. I currently live in Istanbul, where I work as an Assistant Professor at a private university. Before coming to Istanbul, I lived in London for 12 years, where I taught French as a foreign language in a variety of settings – including secondary school, university, and one-to-one private tuition, both face-to-face and online. The tuition I offer is tailored to the specific needs of individual learners. I cover all levels and all needs, including in-depth work on the 4 core skills – writing, reading, speaking, and listening; exam preparation (DELF/DALF, with training based on former exam papers), as well as assistance with all sorts of projects involving French. I have experience with children (my youngest tutee was 4!) to professionals and senior academics in the field of the humanities – I hold a Ph.D. in literature.
