I am an International Opera Singer with over 26 years of experience. I have taught singing for most of that time taking education projects with all the major opera companies in the UK as well as my own teaching practice. Every Voice is different so each lesson is adapted and crafted to suit an individual needs be it age and/or experience. Each lesson is broken up into discussion of goals, warm up and technique, exploration of repertoire thinking and applying the technique and coaching of existing repertoire. My techniques of teaching the classical voice is very much a continuation of the principles and values passed down from my teachers, coaches and Conductors such as Robert Dean, Paddy McGuigan, Gundula Hintz ( all students carrying on the schools of Freddie Cox, Dietrisch Fischer Dieskau), Pappano, Haitink, David Sirus, Alex Ingram to name but a few. I also have an extensive knowledge of cross over repertoire and techniques in Musical Theatre. Therefore, if absolute beginner, keen Chorister or professional I have the lesson to suit your needs.
