I specialize in tutoring Maths GCSE and A-Level for all examination boards in the UK including Edexcel, AQA and OCR. My goal is to focus on the student and ensure that they reach their potential in this subject and understand the principles that underpin mathematics at this level. My approach in teaching mathematics is to first illustrate the principles and fundamentals through clear explanation and examples. These are more challenging to understand, however allow the student to obtain important mathematical tools for life as oppose to learning for the sole purpose of passing an exam. My qualifications are as follows: My results from my mathematics exams under Edexcel were: A*s throughout GCSE Maths and Further Maths, and A*s through Maths, Further Maths and Additional Further Maths at A Level. I went on to study Engineering at the University of Cambridge and now work in high-rise construction as an engineer where I implement mathematical principles I studied at high school on a daily basis.
