I am a qualified, experienced and proactive Music Teacher (UK Qualified Teacher Status, Master's degree in Teaching Music, Bachelor's in Music, majoring in Piano). I have relevant experience as a Music&Piano teacher during the last fifteen years, the last ten within British and International Schools, preparing students to obtain official certificates, DipABRSM, ABRSM grades 1 to 8, Trinity exams, and official Music diploma. I have been teaching in accredited Conservatories, International / British schools, UK curriculum and IB, since 2010 promoting also singing, based on the traditional methods, transcribed notation, Kodaly and Dalcroze, to enhance Music reading/practising, or accompanying choirs. My working experience as pianist encompasses audience performances (solo concerts and chamber Music, woodwind, string quintets, accompanying sopranos) in different countries: England, Czech Republic, Portugal and Spain. I used to deliver concerts for charities, and took part of Musical theatre productions (E.g. The Lion King, West side Story, Brightspark London Philarmonic project) helping develop all singing aspects during rehearsals, and making musical arrangements with the choir (I am qualified in composition which I studied during ten years). I am really versatile in terms of Music repertoire adjusting a wide range convenient repertoire to all the students depending on their Music preferences and taste.
