In violin lessons I offer solid technique development, development of a diverse repertoire and training tailored to your personality and experience. It is important to me that the student can gradually develop independently, in which I am happy to teach music theory basics and tips for independent practice. I like to teach weekly. For beginners it can also be more regular by arrangement. I also offer lessons in music theory, both as a temporary assistant, preparing for entrance exams for music colleges or tutoring at university level.
Languages are learned by speaking! Therefore, my method is based on an interactive way of working in the classroom. I like to challenge my students to venture into oral expression lessons. You learn more from the mistakes and corrections that occur than from many grammar lessons that remain theoretical. However, I am also happy to design the lessons according to personal needs (grammar exercises, specific topics, oral training, written exercises, comprehension, expression...). Depending on the age of the student, it can also be playful or based on a special request (e.g. specific word fields, developing a special ability...). To ensure that oral expression is understandable, I also attach particular importance to correcting or improving my students' pronunciation if necessary - which of course is particularly easy for me as a native speaker.
