I have lived in the United States for one year and in China for two years. English has been my passion since I was little and I have dedicated my life to studying not only the language but also the culture. I have successfully completed all the official Cambridge exams and their respective preparation courses. I also have the TEFL certificate with merits and I graduated in Translation and Interpretation of English and Chinese. I have experience with both children and adults. When I lived in China, I worked in international kindergartens and in foreign language student residences. With the younger students, my duties were primarily to communicate with them in English and to prepare games for them to remember certain common English words or phrases and incorporate them into their vocabulary. In this way, we plant the seed of English and the students will grow with the certainty that learning English is something fun. With the older students, I always try to create an environment of equality and security in which the students do not feel any pressure when it comes to expressing themselves. Effort and the desire to improve are always valued. It does not matter if we are wrong, it does not matter if our words are not the most appropriate, what matters is that we are letting go and we are not ashamed to speak English.
